Sunbird Golf Resort

Play here quite a bit and always enjoy. Course is currently in transition, so many brown areas in the fairways, green, and tee boxes, but that is expected.

Conditions of the course are typical for this time of year as we are transitioning from spring to summer. As such, greens, fairways, and tee boxes are not in the best shape. However, staff is great, pace was great, and so were our playing partners. They have added water buckets on the first tee, which is nice. However, the sand bottles on our cart needed attention, one was missing, and the other was nearly empty. We always repair our divots, but could not this day. We'll still be back.

The experience was great golfing with my Dad celebrating his 90th birthday and my birthday as well. Then some rude lady came up and told us we had better pickup the pace. I tried to explain that my Dad needed a little more time but she stomped off. My Dad then felt he could not keep up that pace and went to sit in the community center. This event affected the experience by having to deal with rude entitled people who act like they own the course. I paid for my Dad to golf 18 holes and he was only allowed to because of this lady.

A shorter course with green fairways, teeoff boxes & well groomed greens. There were several short par threes; however, there were many creative par 4s with one par 5. Water came into play on a few holes.

The course is in good shape though the greens are a little slow. However, compared to the outrageous prices other courses are charging, this is a great value. It was a very enjoyable round.
