About

The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Loved this little course

Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the course layout. Despite being a shorter course, there was enough challenge with some narrow fairways. We loved it and will totally go back again.

Had we managed to get an early morning tee time we could have easily played the course in 2 hours. In the afternoon it got slower and we took 3 hours, but still enjoyed every moment of it.

Need for better golf carts

We were golfing and everything was fine until the cart started acting up and died. The staff did respond with a new cart but disrupted my flow of the game. This affected the overall experience.

Course overbooked

Front 9 pace just fine. Nice conditions for executive layout. At the turn they put twosome on 10 because 6 groups waiting on 1. Completely messed up the pace of play. It is too bad....decided not to spend $$ dining after the round..
