About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

shotgun start
Parking was the worst , but after got in and on tee things went very smooth. Girl behind desk at check in working very hard to get things going and still stayed pleasant. Tee time was pushed back for frost delay and was called to tell me rather than wait till I got there to find out (real plus. Short course but tight. Greens in pretty good shape..
Golt
Very nice course and in great shape. Challenging and the bunkers are soft enough to hit out of. Lady in pro shop could be a little more customer oriented, seemed kinda short crabby
Just a great place
Always nice staff. Layout is challenging and fun. Good greens.
Somtimes it gets slow

We golfed the noon shotgun and the pace of play was much better than expected. The staff was very friendly and the course was in good condition.
Lovely course
This is the 2nd time we played this course and it was very enjoyable
Even though it was a shotgun start , everything moved along very nicely
The course is in great shape and although an executive course it can still be very challenging

We booked it on Golf Now and got a great rate for 18 holes
It was a beautiful day and great pace of play. We finished the 18 holes in 3 hours.
It is a short executive course but still challenging for women and men
Just alter the tee box if you want more of a challenge
Slow Bumpy Greens
the greens are hard but for good reason, this course receives a lot of play, the greens are tight and bumpy.
As quests it is our responsibility to fix ball marks from other players.
Al in this course is in great shape and fun to play, go out and hit em balls soon!
Shorter course but fun...
This course is fun for its variety of holes. Conditions are really good right now.
Great value and quality for a quick 18
This was my second round at Sunbird. Fairways and greens were in better shape than they were a couple months ago and both times the pace was fantastic. They play shotgun rounds here so you almost never wait.
Too expensive for junior
Nice course first experience and good place to practice par 3 but too expensive for adult and a junior where at that price can play major courses. First time experience and a lot of energy at the club house and nice call nditiins for the most part. Greens wee slow but clean.
Light rain and coolish
Weather conditions were not up to Phoenix norms.But the pace of play was great.No tee box hold up and no-one chasing.Fairways were a little wet so not much roll-out on drives.Greens were slower than norm and a little bit tricky.All and all not a bad little course for the money, good place for iron practise.
Pace
Pace of play was very slow, no course ranger to keep things moving. Had to wait 10 min or more at every tee, very irritating. Had a resident tournament going which should be held during the week instead of weekends. Not sure if I would recommend this course for weekend play

First time playing this course was impressed with the condition and play time. Will play again in the future
