About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Great Mid-Executive
Course just opened after overseed, cart path only. We walked on a perfect day. Farirways and tee boxes in very good shape. Greens will need a few weeks, which is normal, but still very playable. We'll come back.
Another enjoyable round at Sunbird
Second time playing Sunbird. Came back again because the first was very enjoyable. The course is in great shape. Had to stay on the cart path this time, but not as much a problem on this course as others.
Solid little course
Small course plays about 4500 from the whites. If you select the right tee time pace can be fast. If not your in big trouble. Mostly retirees and they will play in groups of 5 with no regards for paces of play. We played the front with an afternoon tee time. Got backed up four groups on the ninth hole. It was 2:30 so we decided to skip the 9th and noticed the 10th was backed up as well. Went back to one and it was empty!!! From that point we played 18 in about 2.5 hours with two of us.
So warning! They don’t stick by tee times. 90% of the players are retirees and will play in large groups averaging 150 of the tee!
No carts
Gave us a free round for another day..but the free round is less than what we already paid.........but an hour and a half wait for carts...so we
pre paid for our rounds...no money back .couldn't play today ...nothing for their mistake...
Efficient Round
Good place to play for quicker round. Much shorter course and able to play in 2 hours as a single. If you have time in the afternoon, give it a go.
Great Course
I play this course just about once a week and it is always in great shape. Additionally, the new clubhouse staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. This may be a mid executive course in a retirement community, but I could have sworn I was at a swanky country club !!

Great Course
Despite a record breaking summer of heat, the course was in pretty good condition tee to green. Bunkers were also in nice shape. We played on a late morning weekday and had the course to ourselves and played in two hours. Staff was outstanding as usual.
Great Course - First Time
Hadn't heard of this course but found it on Golfnow.com We will be coming back often. Course is in great shape and has a lot of interesting holes.
Great Course
Purchased from Golfnow. Never heard of the course before seeing it on Golfnow. The ratings were very good and the price was great. Beautiful course and pro-shop manager was very personable. We really enjoyed the round.
