About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Play this course often and it is always in great shape and fun to play
Different
Different than most short courses. Challenging holes and layout for a short course. Good for dialing in your iron play. Was a fun to play.
Although we are not members of this community, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As always, the course is in immaculate shape and the pace continues to be on the button!
This is the nicest course for staff friendliness greetings and courseplay. The fairways are lush and the greens all though somewhat hard, are easy to play. Long grass second cut is definitely a hazard.
Great golf
I usually golf Sunbird twice a week.staff is always friendly, course is in great shape. Just a very nice all around to golf
Good layout, but crowded
This is a very nice short course in excellent condition. It would be very enjoyable if it were not so crowded. It was so busy that there were 8(!) people scheduled for the same t-time. Very confusing. also got behind a very slow foursome. No ranger in sight, Quit after 9 holes.

Beautiful golf course. Course in excellent shape, nice pace of play. Would definitely advise you to play this course. Shorter course but has plenty of challanges
Excellent Condition
Course is always in outstanding shape tee to green. We decided to have breakfast in the Horizon Room prior to playing. The Skillet breakfast was delicious and our waitress was great. Play this course just about every week and I'll continue to come back.
Great course, but run by a few who think they own the course!
Sunbird is a great course and reasonable, The only issue I had while renting a place here is: There are a few, who basically run the golf course, so they can have their shoot-outs, thereby eliminating many tee times available to other golfers, I, while personally watching on hole 12, on a Saturday, saw no action at all for 2 1/2 hours. Why? Because I believe they stack them all at the #1 tee, after 2 when the prices are cheaper, yet sometimes it's hard to get done in time, or sprinklers showering you on the last two holes on the greens. They need to improve the tee times to make the most money for the club. My suggestion: Allow people to tee off after 1:00 pm on the back, when it is slower, thereby allowing more people to finish their rounds. Just my 2 cents!
Great course
This is about the 5th time I've played this course. It's always in spectacular shape and plays in 3 to 3 1/2 hours. It's an executive course with several entertaining holes and a couple narrow fairways. The girl on the on-course beverage cart is VERY friendly. The on-course beverages are priced very well, 20 oz Guinness for $5. The only problem is the on-course beverage cart has no spirits, beer only and the beverages purchased at Mulligans bar can't be taken onto the course, these have to be consumed before continuing on to the back 9. This is really not a huge problem, but just to let everyone know.

Parking was the worst , but after got in and on tee things went very smooth. Girl behind desk at check in working very hard to get things going and still stayed pleasant. Tee time was pushed back for frost delay and was called to tell me rather than wait till I got there to find out (real plus. Short course but tight. Greens in pretty good shape..
