About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

Beautiful
Great place to play great staff
Great executive course
Springfield is fun to play. It has its share of challenging holes, but not unfair (plenty of room for misses). The sand traps are average (I've seen worse), the greens roll very good, but they are hard and they don't receive the ball well, so you have to strategize your approach. Lot's of healthy-looking grass, and the trees don't really get in your way. If you play from the tips, it's harder than it looks...the staff is also friendly.

Slow play all round; 4.5 hours.
Some rough spots near green. Needs new grass

We know it can feel a bit slower on executive courses, but your group did play in 3 Hours and 42 minutes...not ideal, but for a Saturday in March, we were only 15 minutes behind our pace of play!

Perfect size course for us
Made for a great time before we drove to Tucson. Staff and people all very friendly. Pin placements were not friendly. Cart brakes would not respond for most of the round. Perfect size course for us to squeeze a quick round in before doing something else, without tiring out.

Really enjoyed this course.
The course is well maintained and well laid out. I presents some actually challenging holes for a par 61. I would definitely play this course more if I lived out there but I was there for a few days and I always take my clubs with me out of town.
Great Course
We always enjoy playing Springfield, they're on schedule and have great people in the pro shop.

Best little course you can find!
Greens and fairways are excellent. The owners are the best and take care of their customers. Great driving range and a nice grill. Bunkers could be better but the same could be said for all golf courses around here.
Excellent course.
We were in town from Washington and decided to give this course a try. We played multiple courses in the area and this may be the one we remember the most. From the time we arrived the staff were very pleasant and eager to accommodate guest.
The course is in excellent shape. The layout is both fair and challenging. This course has some teeth. The greens were rolling consistent and presented some great challenges. The food was good and overall the whole experience was a good value for the money.
Good Starter Course
Greens in great shape. Good lay out. Pace of play was slow. 4 some holding up the whole course. Restaurant was very good following the round. Would play again.

We were a bit confused about the pace comments as you played the first nine holes in under 1 hour and 30 minutes and finished in less than 3 hours, 34 minutes ahead of pace...
We know being a twosome can feel slow...
