Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

This course has it all
Always a great time at this course. Very nice fairways, open but challenging. Play it smart keep the score down! Beers are cold also!
Variety on every hole
Fun course to play, will play again
Miracle Creek
Course needs to be called Miracle Creek. If you come to a green and don't see 5-10 unfixed ball marks, its a miracle. If you come to a bunker that doesn't need to be raked, its a miracle. Course is very nice layout. It gets a lot of play, and many of those folks just don't have respect to fix there ball marks, divots or bunkers.
Start of fall
From tee box to green course in great shape.
Greens are bouncy, pitched mark and little thin in areas. Last time I played there about a month ago greens we're in great shape. I would prefer amazin greens vs completely green fairways. I bet the greens are going to be punched soon for winter because you will miss putts do to bounces, hops and inconsistent speeds.
Nice playable course
Beautiful day. Played as part of an outing and group size reduced by oncoming Matthew so play was pretty fast.
Staff was very friendly and encouraged us to return.
Greens were damaged in some places and unusual amounts of divots.
Greens were quite speedy and fairways were in good condition.
We would play this course again
bumpy greens
play is always slow but it is usually worth it .course conditions were good except for the greens they were very bumpy.
Great - Hot Deal
We played this hot deal as we traveled from Raleigh to Atlanta. Will definitely watch for it again. Very interesting layout with a good deal of variety and distances. Some of the greens had surface problems, but nothing that disrupted our game. Fairways were good and rough was reasonable. Sand in good conditioin
Great course
The golf course amenities are excellent from driving Rainge to it's large putting green. it also has a chipping green and a bunker green as well.for the golf course it has a wonderful lay out and is both challenging for all levels of golfers.
Enjoyed the course layout
The staff is fantastic. Always friendly and helpful. And I really enjoy the course layout. A good mix of par threes and par fives, both short and long. Great for a mid handicapper like myself.
Greens not so good right now
Great course. Greens not as good as usual. Playing partners said greens were much better 2 weeks ago. Had a lot of rain and they seem to have a fungus or something. A few sparse areas but still a very good course.
first time playing here
Ok course in the suburbs which is played more than other courses in the area. holes 10 and 11 looks like the guys that live in the homes by the hole flop 200 golf balls onto the green everynight for practice. very friendly staff, and great facility. lots of blind landing points off the tees, so be careful not to hit the group in front of you.
Willow Creek Golf
Course was in excellent condition. Great day of golf.
First Time user
My buddy and I wanted to find a new track. I was thrilled when I came across the website, because we were able to play this amazing course for $30/ea with a cart! The course was beautiful and the pacing was perfect. Well done Willow Creek!
Great course-especially for the money!
My son and I played here for the first time while visiting some friends in SC this week, and thoroughly enjoyed our round- despite the super hot weather. The course was in very good shape- especially considering the drought the area is experiencing. Every green putted smoothly, and the contours, while interesting, were fair for high handicappers as well as better players. Most fairways were generous, though several holes had some bends we didn't expect, thus hitting driver is not a necessity at times (in fact it is a mistake). The staff is super friendly, from the gal in the pro shop, to the starters, to the guys out watering the greens. The course is short- the par threes in particular. Though I usually play from the whites, I think we will go for the blues next time we visit. Overall a great day, and highly recommended.
Great course
Good layout, course was in great shape despite high heat . Sand traps need a little help .Thanks
A pleasant round of golf
It is open and play short, the greens could be difficult as they are fast and small. Still fun!
Willow Creek
Nice course but wasn't worth the $59 I paid to play. I would expect the bunkers to be at least raked if I'm paying that amount for a round. All the bunkers were washed out and hard. Can tell that they were not taken care of after the rain 2 days prior.
Best in the upstate
Outside of the private clubs, this is the best golf focuses in upstate S. Carolina. Fairways and greens are in great shape.
