Junior National Golf Club
About
Junior National Golf Club (formerly known as Tres Rios Golf Course at Estrella Mountain Park and Estrella Mountain Golf Course) is rich with dense forestry including eucalyptus, mesquite, and pine trees as well as cottonwoods. The course has a parkland-style layout with rolling fairways lined with trees and undulating greens that are medium-sized and fast. To add more challenge to the golf course, water hazards and bunkers come into play on several holes. The par-4 seventh hole is considered the most difficult driving hole on the course. There are stately trees off the tee and the second shot is to a narrow sloping green. Junior National Golf Club features multiple tee boxes for a variety of different golfing options.

Great day
Enjoyed our round, played terrible but that's golf
Next time will play better.
Getting it right!
Use to play Tres quite a lot then it got really bad, from noisy carts to no drinking water on hot summer days so I quit making the drive down there. The course has always provided a challenge from the tips and with out a house in site it was the kind of golf course I like to play. With that being said I decided to try it again after a couple of good words from some fellow players that said it's getting a lot better. I played first thing in the morning and had a really good time, from the guys I got paired up with to the overall experience the management of Tres Rios is getting it right! Keep it up guys it's a daily grind, kinda like those one putts for par.Ill be back to play again soon!Enjoy Tres Rios.
Course conditions
The course is in excellent shape, best I've ever seen it.
Old School
This golf course has been there for a very long time. One of the best old school, mature courses in the valley. Don't miss this one.
Good course
Greens were in great shape! Fairways in good shape. Rough in poor shape. Good pace of play until last few holes where it seemed to bottleneck.
New life for a tired course!
We have played this course numerous times. This was the best experience we have had on this course. The fairways were excellent and the greens were in great condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend that people who wrote this course off please go back and play it again. You will find a vast improvement!!
Pace of play
Tee boxes could use some work, greens are nice. Would play again if we didn’t have to follow the same foursome.think they were local guys that didn’t have anything better to do than back the whole course up thinking it was funny. Better things to do than a five hour round of golf.
THE NEW TRES RIOS
BEST CONDITION SINCE I MOVED HERE 11 YRS AGO. GREAT JOB TIM AND COURSE SUPER.
Fairways and greens are looking really good. No carts on the fairways. Pace of play was great until last 4 holes. Very friendly staff.
As expected
Course was nice, staff was friendly. No carts on fairways after over-seefing, as expected. Will be back.
Great hot deal
Course was getting ready to winter seed so got lots of roll. Greens were nice. Quick round. Played 18 in about 2 1/2 hours.
Good condition
Hadn't played there for years and was surprised at how good condition the course is. My only complaint is that the flags are too small. Hard to see even with my range finder. Will play there again.
Great layout
I've played this course a few times over the last three years and it keeps getting better and better. Very friendly staff, some nice challenging holes. I love 9,10 and 18 especially. Unfortunately the pace sometimes is very slow due to snail moving groups. I overall recommend this for value and layout
Course in decent shape better than most in the summer
Alot of standing water brought out the mosquitos in full force!!
No on course drink or snack cart
