Junior National Golf Club
About
Junior National Golf Club (formerly known as Tres Rios Golf Course at Estrella Mountain Park and Estrella Mountain Golf Course) is rich with dense forestry including eucalyptus, mesquite, and pine trees as well as cottonwoods. The course has a parkland-style layout with rolling fairways lined with trees and undulating greens that are medium-sized and fast. To add more challenge to the golf course, water hazards and bunkers come into play on several holes. The par-4 seventh hole is considered the most difficult driving hole on the course. There are stately trees off the tee and the second shot is to a narrow sloping green. Junior National Golf Club features multiple tee boxes for a variety of different golfing options.

Nice layout, I will come back again, no rest rooms along the course.

Got us off early, pace was slow at first, then picked up
about 4:5 hours. No beverage cart on course.
Tres Rios
Well kept and friendly desert course. Staff very accommodating. A long drive for me but it was well worth the drive.
I have played the course before. Have enjoyed playing it. The staff is always very friendly. The course is well kept. The food is very good. It is always a pleasant experience when I play there.
Trees Rios value of the week
Best condition I have seen this course in the last 10 years. Staff seems energized which is a NICE change. Pace of play was a little slow 5 he's but the course was full and I was happy to see them busy.
Not a friendly coarse
The corse is very tight in the fairways . To much debris from the trees . The leafs are all over the coarse and shine with the sunlight makbig it hard to find your ball if you miss the fairways. Us like a lot of other people where confused where our next hole tee would be . The layout is very confusing . Only two restrooms one on each end of the courses was ridiculous . The golf shop bathroom smelled like raw sewage . Went to that restroom three times and each time it smelled so bad .
The staff was friendly but never saw any staff on the coarse checking up on us .
I will lot be going back to that coarse
Good course, pace was fair in good condition after recent rain
received more than I thought considering price
Weather was poor but decided to play. Course was nicely laid out and in good condition. Greens ran well fairways and bunkers a little rough.Did not finish as weather became worse.Good value for price !
Rough around the edges but good layout.
Liked the length off the back tees
Keep on the fairways and greens and you'll have a good round.

Course would be much better if the rough was not just dirt. The fairways and greens could use more water as they are very hard. Otherwise, the layout is good and the pace of play is average. The staff are very friendly.
Slow Slow Slow
3 hours to do 9 holes dreadful far too many bookings taken they need to space the timings out longer.
Ruined the day and no Ranger it is only used as the cost is cheap!
Great mountain views
This was the second time we played this course. We had a great experience the first time so brought friends with us the second time. Our only concern about playing was the pace of play. We teed off at 1:00pm and did not finish until 6:00. That is way tooooo long. Almost gave up golfing on the back 9 because of the long waits. The course marshall met us when we were done and asked about our round. He, too, felt the pace of play was too slow. He said he would make management aware of the problem.
Snail Pace Golf at Tres Rios
We had a 1:30 tee time booked through GolfNow. Teed off about five minutes late and proceeded to wait. At 5:15 we had just reached the 13th hole, so we quit. No bar cart; no marshall. Complained to the starter but he gave no evidence of any concern and offered no explanation. This did not turn out to be a bargain. We won't return to Tres Rios. P.S The washrooms stink.
Friendly Staff
The greens have no divots because they are so hard. The brush is out of control. As long as you can stay in the fairway and putt on concrete it's a good course for the money.
The staff is awesome, very helpful and courteous. Pace of play was good for a busy course.
