Sunland Village Golf Course
About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Played Right After a Downpour
This was a good chance to play this course right after overnight and early morning rainfalls. Water runoff was very good on the front 9. Ground of course was wet and damp which shortened ball bounce but balls did move somewhat when hitting the ground. There were a fair number of small very shallow water spots on fairways. The front 9 greens were good. The back 9 was a little different. The rolling fairways collected a fair bit of water especially on11, 13, and 15. The greens were still quite good on the back 9. Overall - the course was a good play and I would play it again after a heavy rainfall.
Mowing
Mowing #10 fairway. Leaving gauges cutting grass to short or getting ready for seed or over seeding in August ?

Great Short Course
We played on Wednesday and cant wait to play it again. Challenging water holes and pleasant surprises!
First timer
Only a few minutes away this course was a plesent suprise. Fir the money ($17) I was expecting an average course. It was way above average and I’m making my next tee time when I finish this review.
Thanks for a great time!
Very nice executive course
This was my first time playing this course and I enjoyed it very much. The course was in very good condition and laid out in a way that made it easy to play. The fairways were forgiving and the greens were in great shape. The only downside was that there was a lot of maintenance going on and they were aerating a lot of holes while we were playing. The maintenance guys didn’t seem to care that we were waiting to tee off and several times we had to wait upwards of 5 minutes for them to move. Other than that it was a great course and I will go back.

course in good shape, staff attentive, fast pace of play
Great fun course for my husband and I
Love this course. Great day of golf with my husband. Fun to play!
No ranger
There were four guys in front of us when they got to the green they each played two balls to the closest to the hole on every hole which made it a long round... In the force them waited till the group in front of them was off the green... Some of the holes are 300 to 375 and they would wait till they left the green and they all hit about 150 yards wish there would have been a ranger
