Sunland Village Golf Course
About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Course maintenance
Those guys/gals do an exceptional job keeping this course in the shape it’s in.... the staff is on the same course as to providing excellent service. Thanks team!
Great short course
This course is always in excellent condition and pace of play is good. Rarely ever have to wait as they space the tee times perfectly.
Great short course
Great short course. Perfect for golfing with friends, without taking up the whole day.
Perfect your short game
This is the gem of the east valley, nice thick fairways and pristine greens. Best course to work 9n your short game without a doubt. Book a tee tome on Friday and engoy the best fish fry in the east valley, hands down!
Always Challenging and Enjoyable
Today’s course was in very good shape. Play was slower than normal but we did complete in just over 3 hours. 3600 yards usually goes quicker but there appeared to be more first level golfers today. Staff is super. Friday’s are “fish Friday” at the restaurant attached so bar was very busy as expected. Recommend over and over.
Sunland Golf course
Good executive type course for money. Easy to play. Greens in good condition. Will play again
Nice middle length course
Great course - fairways and rough in good condition Greens are dry and been fertilized but not lush green .
It Beats Work :) !!!
We got paired with a couple of guys that we have played with before! That made it REALLY fun! Only downside was we were behind a foursome that obviously wanted some friend time, so we waited a LOT after EVERY hole...which became a little frustrating...Still...it beats work :)
Beautiful course...very well maintained. Just pleasure to always play there!
Still the same except #18
Love this short course!
Today I played as a single following a single and the pace was great until we caught up to a foursome. The foursome left after nine holes and the pace was back on.
The course is beautifully designed and one can’t help but to stop and take in the pretty landscapes.
Greens are deceiving but are pretty straight, hardly any break.
The #18 hole has changed from a 4 to a par 5.
Amenities include a great driving range, nice little putting green, and really cool chipping practice area located behind the 18 green. All within close distance.
The staff gets the one star, and it’s mostly because of one person in the pro shop. The Pros are very friendly. It’s a support staff member that seems to be a hit or miss.
Highly recommended
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Sunland Village Golf Course.
Perfect your short game
Just a fabulous little course! Par 64, 4 par 4's 1 short par 5 and great challenging par 3 greens. This is a little gem of a course. Work on your short game!!
Too Uptight
First, let me say the course was in great shape and eating at Rochester's after golfing was a great experience. However, our actual golfing experience was greatly diminished by the overwhelming scrutiny we got. First off, it was 97 degrees. In addition, I had my 84 yr old Dad with a heart condition and neuropathy and my brother in law who is handicapped due to permanent spinal nerve damage. We were on the very first hole approaching the green when a lady walked all the way across the course from her home to inform us that we were parked too close to the green. We were respectfully 20 yards off of the green which is standard for handicapped golfers. We explained our situation and she left. The very next hole a course employee (not the ranger) showed up, apparently the first lady had called and reported us. Again we explained our situation and she left, stating "try not to let anyone see you". After another few holes,, finally a course ranger showed up and we had to explain it all over again. After that, at least 2 other times the ranger showed up to watch us, he didn't say anything, but he was over-scrutinizing us. This took a lot of the joy out of the game. My BIL says he will never go back there again. Most courses have handicapped flags and/or policies but apparently Sunland Village doesn't. And ever worse, they have residents who don't even work there reporting things. I would recommend this course to others as long as you aren't handicapped
So FUN!
We ended up partnering with Javier and Ed. Having a foursome made the pace very aggregable. It was a fun day. Only downside, (for us - ONLY), was the 19th hole was on an hour wait when we finished. Good for you. Nice to see things coming back to normal...ISH. The fish and chips smelled GREAT! :) Thanks.
