Sunland Village Golf Course
About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Nice exec course
This is the first time I've played Sunland Village, which is tucked into a Mesa snowbird neighborhood. The course was in good shape with lush greens and decent fairways. Water comes into play on several holes and a few of the longer par-fours featured rolling terrain and tree-lined fairways creating a scenic ambiance similar to the midwest. This is a relatively easy course, but not boring. I plan to come back and will recommend it to my friends.
Fun course
This is definitely a feel good kind of golf course. It is in pretty good shape greens roll very smooth and true not too fast but not too slow. great golf course for the beginner golfer Or the golfer that wants to work on his short game.
Nice course
I usually don't play the shorter courses like this that have par of 62 or so but this course was in great shape and we only had to wait on a couple tees on a Saturday morning. We had a great time and played very well. The course seemed to look different from hole to hole and didn't get boring.
Crusty old people
Locals think they own the course giving everybody a hard time and evil looks.
Truly a Hidden Gem!
Can't believe it took me so long to even see this course on Golf Now. Truly a hidden gem, one of my new favorite Executive courses in the valley. Somewhere between fairly easy and moderately challenging (as there are some extremely short par 3s, which I find tough). Highly recommend this course!
Great experience
Course is kept nice and the staff was friendly. Will golf here again. Great course to practice your short game. Nice community.
Nice course
Good value for the money. 3 hour rounds are always nice
Great course
This course is amazing. Don’t let the yardage discourage you. You still have to make shots!!
It’s not a long course but is in great shape, I would highly recommend this course. The people I played with were very nice and I enjoyed the round.
SCGC
A hidden gem. Fast but true greens. With green fees skyrocketing in the valley this is the best bang for the buck for an executive 18!
An Excellent Executive Style Course
The Sunland Village Golf Course is a comfortable and mildly challenging course to play. Each hole has it’s personality and provides challenges. The course is very well kept. The greens have been very quick the last 2 weeks and a ball tap goes a long way. Wait times at holes are not long and flow is very steady. I very much enjoy playing this coarse and look forward to future play here. The staff and the facilities are top notch. Regular bathroom facilities are always helpful.
No value to twilight golf times
We had a 4:55 T-time and were early so we were able to get out at 4:45. I've always noted twilight golf to be a great value as you can play as many holes as you can still see your ball. Dusk here now is about 6:45 so about 6:30 you have to consider finishing the hole your on. We were a foursome, my wife and I and another couple, and at 5:50 we were starting the 8th hole when the cart maintenance volunteer told us he needed to put the carts away, but he also said we should finish our round. He then came back out to tell us to pick up as we were finishing the 9th hole, it wasn't even 6:15. He even got insulting and told us he'd never seen anybody play two holes so slow (a 177 yd. par 3 and a 354 yd. par 4). Then as we took our clubs off our carts he told us he hopes we NEVER come back. We won't!
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are sorry to hear you may have had a negative experience with any individual on our staff. This is not acceptable and by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We see you rated the course 1-star and are interested in learning what we can do to improve for your next visit. We take single star feedback very serious at our course. You are welcome to comment further or reach out to our team in the golf shop. We always appreciate the feedback. Thank you for playing Sunland Village Golf Course.
