About
Unlike many other courses in Phoenix, the course at the Toka Sticks Golf Club was not done in a traditional desert-style. It is known amongst locals for having very fast greens, many of which are elevated. The old Toka Sticks course was originally a nine-hole course built in 1945 but in addition to making it an 18-hole, championship course, it has had many renovations in the years since to make it a more challenging and interesting course. There are stately trees present on the course call for straight shots in order to reach the narrow fairways. Two lakes are situated on the course that create water hazards that come into play on sever holes. There are also several well-placed sand bunkers throughout. Toka Stick Golf Club also offers a short game area, a putting green and a driving range.

Not Bad
Bunkers were not in best conditions.
Punched greens
Not worth it
Clubhouse allowed a 6-some in front of us, turned into a 5 hour round. Course was in ok condition, greens were punched and still recovering. Cheap to play, get what you pay for.
Solid Course
While the condition isn’t great, and neither is the layout. I like those course because it is friendly to beginners. If you miss left or right majority of the time it’s another fairway. Would recommend. Can’t beat the price.
Typical Arizona public course
Pace of play was extremely slow, course conditions are terrible , greens are almost non-existent
The fairways are plugged.
I’ve been over charged the last 4 times I’ve been there. Now the fairways suck.. the greens will be next.
Great value during the off season
It definitely is dry out there but maintenance continues to keep the course in great conditions. Very happy with this place and will continue to play here.

Love the course but the pace of play on Sunday was very slow!
Toka yardage
Course had water on fairways which made it hard for long driving. There was no yard markers to show distance. Greens were in great shape so we're tee boxes. Not much challenge good beginner course.
Generally in good shape
Except for the lack of sand in the traps.
Jesse the cart girl is all over the course, plenty of opportunity to purchase drinks.
