About
Unlike many other courses in Phoenix, the course at the Toka Sticks Golf Club was not done in a traditional desert-style. It is known amongst locals for having very fast greens, many of which are elevated. The old Toka Sticks course was originally a nine-hole course built in 1945 but in addition to making it an 18-hole, championship course, it has had many renovations in the years since to make it a more challenging and interesting course. There are stately trees present on the course call for straight shots in order to reach the narrow fairways. Two lakes are situated on the course that create water hazards that come into play on sever holes. There are also several well-placed sand bunkers throughout. Toka Stick Golf Club also offers a short game area, a putting green and a driving range.

Nice course
Kind of flat wide open course. We golfed with 2 guys who knew the course which helped. Fast greens. It's expensive to golf in AZ so I think we got a pretty good deal on this course. Would golf here again.
Fun course
Course was in very good shape. Excellent pace considering a fairly full tee sheet. Entire course green, no dormant Bermuda. Layout can be challenging as greens are well bunkered and have a lot of run offs. Course itself is basically flat. Green speed is good. Not much water in play. All in all a fun golf experience.
Not Terrible anymore
Can’t really get around slow play anywhere in the valley this time of year, but it wasn’t terrible. Course is in better condition, definitely green and fluffy, but the greens need to be rolled, too spongy and inconsistent on the speeds and breaks.
Course has potential but needs experienced greens keepers.
Nice course
Course was in nice shape with wide fairways. No pictures of the holes which would have been nice to have but luckily the guys we were hooked up with had golfed there before so could advise us. The employees were nice and friendly. Greens were tough , fast and hilly. We did enjoy the course and would golf there again.
Extremely okay
Really good greens. Overall course in good shape. However very slow pace of play (5 hours). And course is in a small area of space and pretty flat
If pace of play had been okay I would have said this was a good value at $60 in season for phoenix

Course was in good shape, pace of play was good, nice folks on the course. $5 beer is too much and you have to ask for a cooler in the bar if you want one.
