ous boss was impressed, one wasnt based on the painted grass he called it, i liked it but what makes me come back is the friendlyness at the snack bar, the club house amd music playing as we waited for our tee time. Boss and freind shot 100 me 84 so it wa a good day lol. ive played this cousr over the years and its challenging for sure. Bunkers were nice, fairways ok, greens nice and was a fun day, price well worth it and they really are trying to make this golf course work for sure so keep up the good work, ill be back front nice wasnt my best but back nine i woke up. In lieu of overseeding, the fairways have been painted green, which can look a bit surreal. While I am not troubled by this, I would have preferred more originality regarding the color choice. The greens do putt reasonably well, but are getting chewed up and are quite hard. Also, the bunkers suffer from a lack of sand. On the positive side, the layout is really good, even if a few holes strike me as being a bit over the top. All in all, a worthwhile experience, but the course could be much improved upon.

The greens are rolling fast and true. This course is challenging yet fair. Always a great value. The last three times my rounds have been under four hours!

This course is a busy public course, the staff are supercourteous and helpful, there are some great holes and some averageones, the par threes are challenging to say the least,and even with all the bunkers that have been filled in , there are still plenty left to keep you focused all in all very good value for the money

Course is beautiful and in great shape, challenging and well kept. Only complaint is very slow foursome in front of us and did not see a ranger. Time was way over 4 hours, close to 5 hours. Will definitely go back however............

Vistal is a very good value and a fun place to play. It has good practice facilities. Vistal doesn't overseed, so you are playing bermuda year round - generally the fairways are well maintained. Big advantage is Vistal isn't cart path only during the fall. Very nice staff and the fees are cheap.

The course was in great shape. The speed of play was good, even though the course was full. Well manicured.

The staff, facilities, food, value, and overall ambience at Vistal is unparalleled as a combination. Not a lot of choices, only an outdoor grill, but the cart ladies are fabulous and they actually come around often! Prices for beer/etc are very reasonable, and the green fees ditto. Beautiful views of the valley and well maintained. Could have better sand in traps though .. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

Course in good shape bermuda still green, historically not overseeded so conditions can deteriorate later in winter, greens fair, smooth true and quick but not overly fast, some waste areas grass still not filled in where old fairway bunkers have been removed will take time and money to mature. I have played course multiple times over last several years and conditions currently best I have seen them

the pace of play was slow at first. It took several holes before the groups were spaced enough to play without waiting. Other than that the experience was excellent and the course fun to play.

Overcrowded. Very slow. No one assisting to speed up play.

Not only is the course in great shape but once again the staff is, as always, curtious,cheerful and ready to help with anything you need.....a pleasure to golf here...thankyou

Little slow didn't see any people monitoring play. Had to wait for 3 groups on a couple of holes so made play longer then should have been

This course has a good layout and some challenging holes. I have played the course in the past and found it to not be in very good overall shape however I was pleasantly surprised to find the course on the upswing and had a very nice experience playing it.

Love the course, great views and I'm glade they took a few bunkers out. Overseeding was done early and the greeens were excellent

This course is a full length course and scorable. The fairways need some attention and the greens coould be a little quicker. Pace of play is lacking - may times 5 hours or more. Too many people playing that think they are "pros" playing for the wrong tees and not playing ready golf.

I absolutely love this course. When visiting south mountain I never thought looking down that this would be a course that would be any fun or enjoyable. Boy did I get a shock! I really like this course, it is not to hard and not to easy. Really great course for the money and some great views.

Fun golf course. Challenging, but not super difficult. For the money, one of the best I've played.
