About
The executive-length course at Continental Golf Club is a popular choice due to the friendly staff, convenient location, and challenging game. The course features undulating greens that are in excellent shape, as is the entire course. Unique mounding surrounds the narrow fairways. A drainage ditch and two lakes also come into play on the golf course. The signature hole is the par-4 18th hole, which calls for not only a tee shot but also an approach shot over water. The course plays fast but it is still quite enjoyable. Continental Golf Club also has practice facilities including a large driving range, putting green, and practice green.

Slow pace of play
A glacier moves faster than the playing pace at this course. And on top of players moving like slugs, having to play cart path only made the experience even more painful (and slow). I understand this is an executive course with unskilled/older players, but over four hours to play is unacceptable for a par 60 course.
Another day at Continental
Lets face it. This is not a 5 star course but that is absolutely ok. If you have been there before you know what your getting. And price wise its nice this time of year. Rarely do I see a cart with beverages on it. If you ask for Ice for your Cooler you will be pressed to buy something to put in it, even if you just brought some water bottles. On this day I only dealt with the cart guy and he was nice but did apologize for just how horrible the conditions of the carts are. Stated new ones are coming in Feb. The problem today was the water. LOTS OF WATER. Not like lakes or hazards but huge standing spots of water. Nothing like striping a drive only to have to fish it out of the water that is the middle of a fairway. At the end of the day, I had a fun afternoon with a friend. Im not a professional golfer and I dont expect every course to be 5 stars at my level

Golf course
Course was nice, it’s a par 60 and I shot 81. Really easy course and when I come to AZ again, I’d play this course.

Never again!
The greens were super slow, the fairways in really rough condition and the carts are ready for the recycling center!! The only thing going for the place is the really friendly staff!!!

Good beginner course
Good beginner course, mostly par 3’s.
Staff were friendly and they have snack carts running through regularly.
Some holes were more maintained than others, maybe its just overseeding season? No carts on fairways allowed for now

Great lay out
The layout course is fun and the fairways were in good shape. Greens a bit slow but it’s expected after over-seeding.

Need to work on their tee noxes
Greens were in good condition. Tee boxes were not good. Super friendly staff. Wife and I had fun. Place just needs some love

Good value for the money
Good value for the money. Tee areas definitely need some help, greens were good and fairways decent. Overall, I’d say it was a good course that just needs some maintenance.
Course appeared to be in-process of getting ready for annual seeding. Not a problem though. Sand traps could use attention. Not the best. Overall good experience. Will make a point to come back.
A lot to be desired...
Course need's much more care and attention. The tee boxes are below municipal golf course standard. How on earth can the green keeper not know how to put a new pin position hole into the green and the old hole is 2in lower than the green... It is not difficult to level the old hole with the green. Pace of play was great 18 holes 2 hours 20 minutes.

Nice quick course
This is a good course to play for a quick round. The layout is fairly straightforward. A couple of fun holes, great course to hit with the boys before going off for hole 19.

Nice course to take it easy and really enjoy golf
Course is well maintained. For the price and ease of play, one of the best in the phoenix area. Staff is very friendly also.

Good Course, tee boxes under maintenance
Had very early tee time which helped to get out early and not stuck behind someone all day. Lots of tee boxes on back 9 under maintenance which cause for many holes to be same distance.
