Continental Golf Course

This 18 hole executive golf course (par 60) in Scottsdale, AZ is great for beginners, and since the greens are spectacular, great as a practice facility for elite golfers. Staff is friendly and projects a welcoming attitude for all. We played 18 holes in 2 hours as a twosome.

Ridiculously over booked with no one patrolling to keep the pace going.

Good value for the money, decent shape and close to home.

For the price the greens were in great shape and the rough around the greens was well maintained. Most of the par 3’s were 150 to 190 yards which gave me a chance to work on my long irons. Only negative was the pace. Lot’s of waiting.

The course was nice. Only concern was the tee boxes. They were very uneven. The greens putted well. The staff was very friendly.

The course layout and condition was fine BUT This course needs a starter and a Marshal really bad. Most tee boxes had 2 or 3 groups waiting on them. Over 5 hours on a par 3 course is very poor management of people. Will not be back.

This is he second time we have played this course this winter. Unfortunately….same issue as last. We spent more time waiting at each hole than it took to play the hole.. You couldn’t play through because every single hole had waiting carts.. this is not a long enough course to have so many golfers crammed on it.

I have been going to this course for awhile, and slowly it has been going downhill in quality. It is a nice course overall but the Course pace time has gotten worse, especially the time I played last it was well over booked. The golf carts are very neglected to be cleaned. You could see visual a dirt built up on the steering wheels gross, for the money I would rather choose a different corse to play like rolling hills which has much better standards in all aspects.

A beautiful day so it was very busy. We waited with the group ahead of us on every hole. Only complaint that could be addressed is to grade flat the tee boxes. It might even speed up play.

Most of the tee off are horribles!! And we have to wait every time… very unpleasant!!

Have played this course many times over the last 10 years or so. It is always well kept, the greens and fairways are pretty nice. The price is it is a big plus very reasonable.

The course is usually crowded even on weekdays during g the Winter.. Pace of play is good even though crowded.

Course has an excellent driving range and practice area.

Pace of play was horrible. Greens were nice, tee boxes laughable! Dirtiest carts I’ve ever seen! Employees are nice!

As with many public course in the Phoenix area, Continental's tee boxes are uneven without any reason other than an apparent lack of interest by the management/course maintenance staff. Without a great deal of effort, the tee boxes could be easily flattened, which would also be beneficial cutting the teebox grass--mowers don't cut uneven areas well.
