Continental Golf Course
About
The executive-length course at Continental Golf Club is a popular choice due to the friendly staff, convenient location, and challenging game. The course features undulating greens that are in excellent shape, as is the entire course. Unique mounding surrounds the narrow fairways. A drainage ditch and two lakes also come into play on the golf course. The signature hole is the par-4 18th hole, which calls for not only a tee shot but also an approach shot over water. The course plays fast but it is still quite enjoyable. Continental Golf Club also has practice facilities including a large driving range, putting green, and practice green.

Golf at Continental
Reasonable value & at time I played wide open so done in approx. 3 hours.
Course Ok except 18 where fairway still muddy from recent wet weather.
Continental
Played on a cool day and completed the round in well under 3 hours. Typical of most executive courses in the valley.
Course condition
I play this course a couple of times each winter. It was in the best shape I have seen over the last few years.
SLOW! Bad customer service
Used to be a good place to play a quick round with really good greens. Now the greens are slow and many ball marks. But pace of play was the worse I have ever seen and I play a lot of golf. We got to the 5th tee and there were 3 groups on the tee and another group on the par 3 green. The 6th hole had 2 groups on the tee and another on the green. Went to back to the club house and they didn't see to care saying it is the busy time of year. They seemed more interested in playing ping pong than taking care of their customers or their course. Will not be back unless things change
Fair price for a nice round
In looking for an executive course in Scottsdale, this course fits the bill nicely. Price was right, play was fairly quick (few delays on the course). Holes were challenging enough for an occasional player.
Fun Round
Continental is very friendly. The course is easy to play quickly. It's a good place to improve your game.
hole in one
138yd 8th hole 7 iron hole in one.
Never again
It is cart path only all the time and the pace of play was really bad. Paid for 18 but only played 9 it was that slow
Always a quick and fun round
I love this course when I don't have time for the traditional 4 hour round, this time around it was in better shape than previous rounds. Overall good value for the cost!
Never again
Best way to describe course is pathetic. Every hole is the same. Horrible condition. Uneven and beat up tee boxes and brown/black patches on the greens. Not for anyone who wants an enjoyable or scenic round of golf. Sleezy. Don't do it.
Classic Continental
Been playing this place for decades. You can't go wrong on the value here. Brought my kids out for their first round, and they loved it. Great place for families.
Great Short Course
Course is in great shape. Rivals the big pricey courses. A good test for your irons.
Short & Sweet
This is a good course to practice your short game. It took about 3 hours to play which I enjoyed, especially in the hotter weather. The course says you get to use every club in your bag and I would agree. It was a good value for the price.
Great value for money
See my rating please. Thank you
Great for a quick round
Love playing at Continental. The executive course with 6 par 4's and 12 par 3's can be played in 3 hours. Greens are in very good shape. Great practice for your short game.
Good executive lauout
This is a nice layout for the intermediate and up. The only complaint I had was the tee boxes were all pretty lumpy, but the greens this year are the best I have seen there in a few seasons.
This course is definitely worst the value.
Overbooked/Slow Pace
This could be a great executive course. Very well designed and the fairways and greens are in fairly good shape. The downside is they overbook and there is poor management of the course. I have played here often and don't remember seeing a range master at anytime. Very, very slow pace. If you play on this course expect to finish in 3-4 hours. Because the fees are much lower than other courses in the area, you save a few bucks, but you get a lot of weekend golfers out and they take there time around the course and stopping at the refreshment wagon. They have no sense of golf etiquette or understanding of moving along to maintain the pace of play. .
