About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

OK - but still a goat pasture
Tee boxes are rough - greens are even tougher. Fairways are recognizable. Fees are a little steep considering the shape of the golf course. HOWEVER, the staff is incredibly cordial, I'm always among friends, and the worst day golfing is still better than the best day working. Good track to practice your short game.
Rough shape but great pace
Greens a patchy and fairways are not in good shape. Finished nine in an hour and 10 minutes. Staff was great. Needs water and TLC

Great Course...for the price :)
9-Holes + Cart for $20. Like most, I am ended up here for the cost savings. Did not have high expectation but this little course grew on me throughout the day. I wish the greens were in better shape. The rough was really rough. Lots of spotty grass areas in the fairway but I found it to be a great place to burn off 9 holes if you aren't that picky. Lots of fun Par 3s and some short 4's that are possible to Eagle. A coyote practically walked up to us unafraid and non-threatening- just sniffing around before running off. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The course can be challenging for long power hitters but its perfect for short game enthusiasts. In the end, I'll be back and I'll find more to enjoy I'm sure.

Not much shade
the greens are pretty rough with even sandy portion and there isn't many place to hide from the sun.

Still needs some attention
* Course was in a little better condition than usual due to all the rain this year. Good luck if you’re not in the fairway.
*My 15 year old grandson’s greens fees were free!
* Easy walking course.
* Directional signs would help.

Beginners rating
For someone that is new to the game like myself, I feel this place was super relaxed. Pace of play was great and I never felt like someone was breathing down my back. Layout is good, just remember that the third hole goes from south to north. No hills that will take your ball further away from the green if your a bit off, which is great for a beginner like me. I know some experts might have a different opinion and heck, maybe I’ll have a different opinion down the line. But for the price, staff, and driving range this place is pretty cool.
