About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Not much shade
the greens are pretty rough with even sandy portion and there isn't many place to hide from the sun.

Still needs some attention
* Course was in a little better condition than usual due to all the rain this year. Good luck if you’re not in the fairway.
*My 15 year old grandson’s greens fees were free!
* Easy walking course.
* Directional signs would help.

Beginners rating
For someone that is new to the game like myself, I feel this place was super relaxed. Pace of play was great and I never felt like someone was breathing down my back. Layout is good, just remember that the third hole goes from south to north. No hills that will take your ball further away from the green if your a bit off, which is great for a beginner like me. I know some experts might have a different opinion and heck, maybe I’ll have a different opinion down the line. But for the price, staff, and driving range this place is pretty cool.

This is my favorite place! Price is fantastic, employees are super nice….I meet people along the way while enjoying a challenging course thats full of trees with a chill vibe! I tell EVERYONE about this wonderful gem of a place! I’ve been coming for 10 yrs now…Thank you, to the owners for keeping it this way!!!!
Course Layout
My wife and I totally enjoyed the course. No pressure from behind and opportunity to use all of our clubs.
Suggestion: Tee Boxes should be numbered.

9 hole
Unfortunately, the fairways were loaded with clumps of weeds which grabbed onto the ball .. if the fairways had not been so weedy I would rate the course higher since the price is right
