About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Course condition
The course was in good shape. Friendly, professional staff and affordable. Very busy but enjoyable day to play.
Nah dawg
Do you like fairways, Greens that are over 90% grass, Bunkers with only sand in them? If so. Try somewhere else. Not a bad spot if you wanna take some practice shots from what I can only compare to a state fair grass parking lot (midwest folk will understand) I wish i broke out the putter and practiced putting on the 101 instead.
Staff were super friendly though. Great driving range.
very slow
They booked so many people that we had to wait 15 min or more at each hole. It was so slow. It took two of us 2 1/2 hours for 9 holes. Not acceptable.

Neighborhood Gem
Coronado Golf Course is a 9-hole executive course.
Conditions are not the best, but I still consider it a neighborhood gem. They are always friendly and do not price gouge. Anyone can come here, feel welcome and enjoy their game. They also have a driving range which is very good.

Able to quickly play a 9 hole course and practice your strokes. Friendly and inexpensive.

Garbage everywhere
Wasn’t expecting much. But worse than expected as there was garbage all over the place (even a dead fish in the fairway) and no grass on the course anywhere. Could be a great place for beginners to golf if they just showed they cared a little but they don’t.

Good for newbie,s
The course is in tough shape, but my wife is a beginner and it's easy enough not to discourage her. Some of the greens are in bad shape, but overall OK. For the money I will play there again.
