Palmbrook Golf Club

We suffered through a 5+-hour round because the course permits 5-somes and we played behind 3 of them. The ranger confirmed the course's practice and could do nothing to move them along and chose not to break them up. That was the first time we played the course and really liked the conditions, BUT WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. The owner and manager of the course should be ashamed and removed.

Cold windy day proved to be a tale of two nines. Front nine not as exposed to the elements. Back nine fully exposed. Course in good shape but disappointing clubhouse basically shuts down at 5:00.

WE HAD 3 5 SOMES IN FRNTOF 2 4 SOMES AND THEY WERE A HOLE BEHINE ON THE BACK 9 AND HAD TO WAIT OVER 20 MINUTES. NOT FUN. MORE THAN 5 HOURS FOR 18 HOLES

A 5-hour round (!) because we played behind three 5-somes. The "ranger" said 5-somes are permitted, but they must keep up their pace of play. They didn't and the ranger didn't move them along, so everybody behind them suffered. A course that permits 5-somes is poorly managed. This was our first time playing the course and we will never go back.

5-somes should be deported.

The condition of this golf course is poor and it takes guts to charge almost $100 to play here. Yes, I know it is winter and the rates everywhere in the Phoenix area are obscenely high for very marginal conditions. There are no ball washers and the greens very inconsistant. Likely we will not return.

We enjoyed our round at Palmbrook and felt it was a good value. We had played two of their sister courses and this one was our favorite. The course is in great shape and the pace of play was not bad for afternoon golf. There was a Marshall who checked in with us frequently to ansk anbout the pace of play and he was so kind and courteous. We will definitely return.

Great course, great staff, great greens and fairways. Putting a fivesome out in front of foursomes and threesomes and twosomes not a great idea. Waited on every single hole and every single shot. It took away from being a perfect day. If the course had open time slots maybe but when its booked and the group in front of the fivesome was a hole and a half ahead....grrrrrrrrrr. However, I hope it was an isolated event that dont repeat itself in the future.

well run, good people, nice carts w/GPS, 4:15-4:30 round which is better than average for Az courses. greens and tee boxes really good, sand traps ok all in all, i would play this course anytime for a change of pace nice relaxing round

I’ll never play there on the weekend again. We weren’t able to finish and I understand you publish a disclaimer stating that is possible. But, it was over a 5 hour round of golf. Your ambassador said you put out too many groups causing slow downs. we often saw two groups on every tee box. I like the course but this is unacceptable. Never again.

Enjoyed our round at Palm Brook! Our foursome played in 4:15 with only a bit of delay here and there and no pressure from behind. Course is in great shape and best of all there are no gravel or rock areas to do a number on the clubs! A terrific value and fun place to play!
