About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Worst round of year
So we have a new leader in the worst pace of play. A horrendous 4 hours 45min. Is this what you call a great golfing experience? I find out on the 2nd hole that they were having a high school girls tournament. Thanks for letting us know so we could decide if we want to deal with that garbage. If I had known there is NO way I would have played here. Thanks for ruining my day of golf. Will never recommend this course again.
Park golf
Never played a Sun City golf course before. It was a fun day. No surprises… easy flat and forgiving course.
Still have to adjust my Canadian brain on the change in golf prices now. My wife and I a few years back could have played a much better golf course for what we paid here but “ it is what it is”… can’t blame the golf course as it is ”Golflation” everywhere.

Tight fairways
We enjoyed our round of golf.
Greens: very consistent but need to be tolled. Putts bounced to the hole vs rolled to the hole.
Sand traps: too many small rocks and very hard. Need to add sand.
Fairways: great shape but tight. Lots of tree branches and trees to deal with.
Rough: lots of grass and clover.
Tee boxes: most were in good shape.
Staff: very friendly.
I would recommend this course.
Good course except for the greens
Greens were in rough shape and the pin placements were in the toughest spots it seemed. Otherwise the course was good.
Great course Pace of play was slow unfortunately and we had a few balls hit up on us as we were waiting. Tee times might be a little close together. As a course director at my home course it's nice to have green fee'ers but having balls hit up on you doesn't make a person want to come back.
We enjoyed the course but!
No Ranger
Slow, slow, slow with no ranger. Over 4 hrs. and we didn't play the last 2 holes.The only time someone from the pro shop was on the course was to tell all groups they had to have the carts in at 5:30 which was 20 minutes before sundown.
Snowbird
Love this course for its condition and the great pro shop staff. The most accommodating behind the counter people in the area - and we play all over The Valley. The staff at Estrella Mountain Ranch should take lessons.
Sun City CC
Great course bunkers actually had sand in them. Fairway was in good condition not sure what type of grass it was but was not only just grass. Greens where in ok condition partially had no grass on some parts.
