Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Golfer Reviews
Poorly maintained
Nice layout, greens have potential, bunkers nice, fairways and tee boxes burnt and little grass. Too bad could be a nice little track.
Wet and Barren
Over watered and no grass. Usually a good spot but not today.
Wet Mud
Fairways were trashed with no real grass and super wet and marshy.
SSCC
Super friendly staff. Not a bad little course for the Hot Deal price of $74 for two players w tax and fees included in that price. My wife is a newer golfer so this wider open shorter layout was perfect for her. We finished 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 min.
Great deal for a Green Arizona course
All grass 18 that’s well maintained even in the summer. Simple but nice course with lots of trees that make it fun and a good combination of challenging and forgiving. If you miss the fairway you’re not screwed but will have to be strategic about your shot.
Aireated conditions
We have golfed this course in the past and have also played regularly in a monthly golf league. The greens were very bumpy and some fairways were dried out.. We must of not seen an asterisk or note indicating the course conditions on golf now. Overall, The price didnt reflect the condition of the course.
The Tee Boxes, Fairways and Greens were in BAD Shape
I normally like playing Sun City Country Club, but the Tee boxes, Fairways and Greens were in BAD Shape. I know that they Aerated the Greens recently, but they usually have everything else in alot better shape. I looked like possibly a Watering Issue. I like the course and hope they get it in better condition soon.
Don’t hit it OB
There are homes a few yards off the rough. Surprisingly, the homes aren’t protected by nets so I wouldn’t recommend the course if you have a huge slice. The course is in pretty good condition but there are some fairways with dead grass. The greens were punched a couple weeks ago so the greens are a little bumpy.
Disappointing
I've played here before and it was fine. Today the bare spots were numerous. The aerification of the fairways were a mess. Plugs a'plenty to scrape aside before you hit. Bunkers were either hard or super soft; no consistency. Best part was my local partners; Rob (who lives off the 14th green) and his humorous buddy w/the "1 iron" clubs.
Y'all got some work to do for me to return.
