Sun City South Golf Course

Over all the course was in very good shape, the greens were a little slow but putted trur.

Course was in great condition for a late summer afternoon - nice and green. For a good player, this course should not be too difficult. It's very flat, and on several par-4's, you hit less than driver. The surrounding houses are spaced wide, giving you much room for error. The prices for range balls are a lot lower compared to other courses I've played.

It was a fun Sun City Course for sure! Very flat and in good condition for it being summer. Only complaint may be about how hard the ground seemed. Couldn't get ball to check on greens for anything but overall a fun time. Greens were playing pretty fast.

All the staffs were very good...and the course is well maintained..

had a good round, it was very windy. good speed never had to wait. like the course.

Where was the new golf rangers? Four foursomes backed up on these holes? They aren't that difficult. Someone should be there to move players along...

this course is fairly straight forward. Level Fairways which were in good shape. Nice and Green. Sands traps can coming into play on some fairways if your ball strays off to the left or right. A couple of water holes but nothing that should cause any concern. Green were in good condition but on the fast side especially if putting down hill. Overall a good course to play. expect they allow groups of five to play. There were to groups of five in front of us and play was very slow. Should be able to play this course in fours hours, but took us five hours to get through.

Course was in good shape, greens were nice, smooth, fast. I have only one item that I didn't like, a couple of the sand traps had about 1/4 of a inch sand. The trap on 15 was like concert under a 1/4 inch of sand, really jarred my whole body, it hurt.

We have been coming to Sun City for several years and love it, especially the golf, and getting away from our cold Indiana winters, (especially cold and snowy this year).

Took a 1:45 tee time knowing the sun went down at 5:30 and we still finished in the daylight. South is not very exciting because most holes are pretty straight and most greens have little undulation. But it's a fair test at 6433 yards (gold tees) and let me hit my driver all day. All Phoenix area courses are in good shape this winter due to great over seeding weather in October and this course is no exception.

Played the course for the first time and had a very good time. Greens were true and quicker than they looked. Will go back and play again.

Found there were quite a few long par 4's playing the course from the back tees (6,800 + yards)... Friendliest ever starter! One of the staff lent us his personal cart as they were very busy. That being said, we played in approx. 3 and 1/2 hours!! Will be back after they finish their over-seeding!

The pin placement on greens with no grass were very poor. You could not make the ball stop at the hole. WE had a 1207 tee offf and did not tee off til 1240, due to the fact they did not have any carts. We were stuck behind a five some and they played really slow. No marshalls on the course.

Good value for 18 holes with cart. Roughs were a little shaggy otherwise the course was pretty good. They are preparing to over seed in a week. Overall a good day.

Wide fairways and very flat course make it an ideal for beginners and intermediate players. Greens were shaggy ad slow. Practice facility was OK but balls were quite old and worn.

difficult to rate because just prior to overseed the courses are usually in the best shape of the year.

Course is great shape for this time of year. Greens were prefect!
