Riverview Golf Course

Course does not have a lot of grass on fairways and the birds are nasty.

Pace of play was fairly slow...two tee starts, and the typical Sun City 5-somes. What was described as undulating greens really means stupid severe back-to-front slopes...some with 6-8 feet of elevation change. I hear they are shutting this one down to re-do the course this Fall...good idea.

Loved the course.greens were undulating and fun to putt. Problem is they let out fivesomes who are oblivious to what is going on behind them the group in front of us had two open holes in front and three groups held up behind. They really should try to move play along.

Course is in good shape. Just be aware that this is a no frills Sun City muni course.

If you want to become a better putter come here, challenging greens are the norm. Be below the hole!!

Major issue with this and most SC courses are the people that work in the pro shops/starters. While they are very nice people they just don't have much experience in the golf industry and it shows. Allowing 5somes in front 3somes off the first tee is just a recipe for disaster.

Since this is a muni course the 5somes usually have zero golf etiquette and have no clue about the back up they have created.

Good conditions, challenging greens, poor course management which leads to horrible pace of play.

Only drawback was the course put out some fivesomes which slowed play to a crawl.

Fun to play and worth the money. Due to winter rough was dormant. Greens and fairways were in great condition

This is the second time I have booked the 12:00 hot deal tee time. Both times the course pushed me back 45 minutes due to an outing....I was told the 12:00 tee time does not exist...definite break down in communication...the course staff reflected their frustration with their lack of friendly service...

Very good price for a good round of golf with friends. Carts were wonderful and the round was fast for this time of year!!!

course ia well maintain except that the front of us are very slow and no ranger ...to let this people to speed up...the people behind us did not play I think they already left..

This course has a nice layout that challenges you to choose the right club. Greens are in great shape. fun to play.

The course was in good condition. The over seeding was recently done so it was cart path only, which would have been nice to know before we booked it. My Father in Law is 72 years old and was more walking than he needed. Some of the greens were a bit rough, but overall in good shape.

I enjoy the layout at Riverview and water features. The greens are challenging but that is the fun part of them. Who wants to putt on flat greens?

It was cart path only due to overseeding and the greens were in need of a trim.

Overall, a much better course layout than I was expecting for Sun City. A lot of solid challenges in the course. There were also a number of easier holes mixed in for you to let loose on. My only real gripe with the course layout is the green on #12. It is so heavily sloped that it is pretty much unplayable, especially right now with the greens dried out for overseed. It has no shelf or anything else to land on and stick to. That being said, the course was well kept, even for the week before overseed. Be warned as well, this course is right in the heart of Sun City, so if a quick round is what you want....it won't happen here.

Friends and I had a blast at this course. Greens were challenging course was moderately difficult.

The greens were fast and furious with slopes far beyond the imagination. Tough putting!!!

Course was a little short, played from the tips, but still a challenge. Greens...Wow, they were tough, all kinds of breaks, if you're above the hole going downhill, good luck! Course was in great condition, I'm sure overseeding is coming soon for it, get out there while you can!

Greens were fast and with slope; fairways wide open (good for bombers); water on most holes on front nine on right side, lots of easy holes but also a few with challenge. The one negative is shortage of carts; we had to wait past our tee time as it was a very busy day and had to wait for cart to come in. Had to do the cart clean up. Nevertheless, I would go back if I needed a morale boost in my game. I had fun playing

For not overseeding yet, this course is in excellent shape! Greens were running true, and fairways were green ...can't go wrong with this course..they overseed on Oct. 21
