About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Mike - Excellent Customer Service!!
My brother and I try to play weekly at Ken Macdonald. Mike who works the Pro Shop is the most amazing customer service representative I have experienced. He manages a very very busy front desk with a GREAT attitude and personality. He is super friendly and extremely helpful. Mike always goes out of his way to make your experience exceptional!!
Another set of tee blocks for senior golfers would be appreciated. The white tee blocks are too far for 70+ golfers.
Overall we had a great time.
Great value for money course
You can't beat the value to play this great course. It's fun and very challenging too.
Greens
Greens were not in good shape. Shaved to close? Many bare spots. Worst I have seen on course in several years.
Good course for the money
Course was in good condition staff was friendly there parking situation definitely could be better but overall a good experience
Fun day
Got paired with two other singles and had a blast. Course was still wet from the rain, but very much playable. Greens rolled true and were pretty quick. Waited on about half of the holes, but other than that it was great
Arizona Winter Golf Bargain
Classic winter golf in Arizona. Fairways great, greens a little rough, but overall a nice course on a nice day. Tee time of 1:30 PM sometimes too late to finish and we made 16 holes. Would play again.
Poor greens
Fairways good; traps ok; but the greens simply don’t have enough grass on them. I thought that management would show some evidence of fixing the greens, but so far no.
Fair condition after rains.
Played the course after it rained the previous day. It was obvious that no maintenance was performed for a few days. Greens were uncut and really long. Course, however, was generally dry
