Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Ken McDonald is in my rotation when in the valley
Played here several times during the last few years. Nice municipal course situated in an established neighborhood. Fairways and greens were in great condition and they did a great job with the over seed. Dormant rough was manageable. Pace of play was good and is a very walkable course. Nice practice range. Good value in the area this time of year.

Car Path only due to wet condition lots of rain fell on Saturday, wished the greens were in better condition lots of bare spots made putting difficult
Pace of play needs to be addressed
I grew up playing this course and it’s a great value. However, Kenny Mac needs to address pace of play. You can still play bad golf quickly and do not have to putt out 1 footers for a 12 on a hole. Also, Kenny Mac needs to charge those that don’t show up for their tee time. A lot of loss revenue that could help make a lot of improvements. Great value tho for golf on an easy course.
It was an excellent day of golf. We would come again.

Green fees are a great value during the winter months. Pace of play was very good. Some of the greens need more grass.

We had an awesome day golfing here!! Only small draw back was pace !! Will definitely be back!!
a little disappointed
pace of play was horrendous..i started at 130, didn’t finish…starter was very nice and helpful but kid inside behind the counter wouldn’t answer the phone..strangest and laziest worker i’ve seen..i booked thru golf now but could’ve gotten a better time if someone would answer the phone.
Cart Path
the course allows only cart path for golf cart which make much harder for the old people to play golf.
if course make only one exception for the people of 70 and older to allow to drive on fairways that makes much easer for them.to enjoy golf
