About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Sunday Round
Booked KM for some friends that didn’t want to break the bank for a weekend round We had a great round on great conditions for a muni and played in 4 hours Will be back soon
City Course
Course was in great shape except for the bunkers. Not enough sand in 1/2 of the bunkers. Fairways great shape, greens good, tee boxes lacking. Good bang for your buck!
Better than I expected
Much better greens, fairways and tee boxes than many more expensive courses. Greens were fast but too hard to get much bite
windy day
greens were better than they look, fast and true...pace of play was good only issue is they advertise partitions for the golf carts and couldn't figure out how to install them.
Great course and a good value
Easy course to walk in good condition. Second time playing and was enjoyable.
Great par 72 municipal course
This is a nice municipal course. Fairways are currently in great shape. Pace was slow, started at 2:15 and ran out of light on hole 16.
Hidden Gem
Wow!! this course came up on GolfNow for the first time at a great price and we jumped at it. It is a public course with awkward parking situation but even that is not a criticism. Pro Shop and starter were fantastic and accommodating. Layout is sneaky hard with large fast greens and some well placed water hazards. The food and beverage teams were very nice. Worth a trip.
Good test for all golfers
I played this course many times. This time was a little too slow. They were two foursomes of Senior Walkers with the first tee time and they were very slow. They were so slow, in fact that we skipped two holes to get ahead of them. Couldn't get in a grove because we had to wait on every shot and our tee time was 7:57 AM. Not too pleasant an experience
we had fun but it was slow playing. seemed to wait on every T box. what ever happened to the 4 hr round?
