Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Good value and the pace of play was good , 4:15 on a Saturday.
Pretty basic , flat course . Almost all the trouble is off to the left or right with generous landing areas . The price is what would bring us back . MAC
Not worth 70$
I wouldnt pay 70$ to play this course 40$ is pushing it !! Besides flipping the back to the front. No improvement over the past 25 yrs. Confused on what upgrades they did to warrant 70$ tee times .. nice people restaurant is okay but over priced peak season.. might as well play a nicer course and add 30$ to it cause its 100$+

Had a great time, course was in great condition!
Only complaint very poor parking situation, hope the city can hire an architect to help 😳

Soon after the reseed, cart path only and woolly fairways, greens a bit slow (all to be expected). 4:15 round, all in all good shape, fun afternoon and good service at the pro shop. Also has beverage cart on the course.

Course just opened from overseed, in the worst shape it has been in for the 30 plus years playing there. Both greens and fairways were very spotty. Looks like the overseed did not take in many places. Sand traps were mud. Hope the course improves over a few weeks.
Last round before overseed
The course is still in good condition considering it’s the last to overseed in the area. Pace was a little slower than usual but not bad since we were a twosome following a foursome.
Golf now sucks!!
Golf now is selling teetimes for a fee that they don’t have. Take the time to show up at a golf course And they do not have you on their T sheet even though you purchased a teatime from GolfNow. Golf now customer service has plenty of excuses. And they’ll give you your Reservation Fee back. but can’t give you your time or your gas money back. I called BS.!
Kenny Mac is a public gem
Course is wide open with trees and water guarding some holes. Pace of play can be slow. But we finished in 4 hours.
