Sierra/Comstock at Empire Ranch Golf Course

It’s definitely in winter shape, but oh well this is a great course and really fun to play. I’ll play it again and again.

Weather was perfect and course was in good condition.

Third time playing this course. It’s a lot of fun especially for beginners that aren’t afraid of losing some balls. Sister in law got her first Eagle on a par 5! Made the outing awesome for sure

I have no review of the course as my reservation was for a different course with same name. I did not realize this until I arrived at the clubhouse to check in. I called the course with the wrong reservation and canceled the tee time. They were understanding, but referred me back to Golf Pass for reimbursement. Golf Pass refused the credit and the customer service number would not allow me to talk to live support . At this point someone has been paid for a round not played. Golf Pass should at least credit me for the amount charged to a future round. A response (other than a canned response) from Golf Pass would be appreciated.

It's winter right now but the greenskeepers are pretty good at keeping the course in playable condition. There was a frost delay but once everyone got on the course the pace of play was very good. We finished in just over 3 hours. There are several places that need reseeding and they have reseeded some areas and marked them well. Overall a good value.

Terrible staff! the starter (I believe his name was Tom) older gentleman was extremely rude and irritable. Duo got to skip the line cause they “knew the owner” pace of play was thrown off and blamed every other group. Course conditions were terrible in September and greens were filled with duck feces. If you havent tried this course I would say don’t. Hard to even give it 1 star.

First time playing this course and it was a lot of fun. Some patchiness on the fairways, but course website noted they were Re-seeding some areas so it was expected going in. Greens were great and course was a great afternoon.

Course is not in good shape. Greens are pretty good, considering. Price was fair for course conditions. If you bump the ball, you can play it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for the price.

Course has not recovered from flooding 2 years ago. There is a lot of bare areas on the fairways which (looks like they haven't received any attention). Cart paths could use some work. Greens are good though.

Nice employees. Fairways very rough with too much 'waste area', even in the fairways. Several bunkers were just dirt. 80% of the greens were in good shape, and surprisingly challenging and subtle. 20% were in less than good shape, but not in bad shape. It is a good bargain. It's the only links type course, with hard and fast fairways that give you extra yards, that I've found in the area.

It was a great day with friends and everything was excellent
