Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

This course will surprise you
This course is fun to play. Staff is always friendly, course usually in good shape. Not sure what is going on with the bunkers? Weeds more than sand. If you haven’t played here yet, you should.
Poor greens
Greens were horrible, fairways fair, bunkers a joke! I know we had a bad winter but the issues are not really related.
Great layout
Incredible layout with amazing views. Really challenging especially for the first time. Will come back later in the summer when conditions are prime as well.
under repair
today was a bad day to play. the course conditions were poor. the greens were sanded and unputtable one hole was closed due to flooding from the last storm.
Always a favorite
Consistently one of the best all around golf experiences in Northern Nevada. Challenging track, friendly staff, fast pace of play, and affordable.
Great Time
The staff here are wonderful. The course has a great and challenging layout. This is always one of my favorite places to play. And they have expanded the food menu too!
Good fun in the desert
I really liked this course. It was quite the challenge. With water in the valley and challenging uphill and downhill shots on the mountain parts. Very interesting. It was like a Rollercoaster ride. I would like to play again now that I know the layout better. The course was over watered. I plugged my ball a handful of times, including on the greens. I guess it was pretty responsive haha.
Challenging, beautiful and fun course
This course has great features, beautifully maintained and staff are very friendly
Staff second to none
Great experience at Sun Ridge. Pace of play is slower due to the course design. Need to play this course a few times to adjust your game to layout. A bit of target golf for sure. You will use the bag no doubt!
Tough course but beautiful
The course has a lot of water, which is surprising to me for Nevada. Greens were tough with a lot of uneven surfaces. The rough was pretty long, which makes finding an errant ball tough. Hole 14 to 18 are like playing a different course since you are generally hitting from elevated tee boxes into valleys where you often cannot even see the ball land. Overall, it is a fun course but you are really rewarded for accuracy. The sand traps need a lot of work to add sand and fluff up what is there. Luckily, I stayed out of them.
