Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.

There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Very Challenging Course

Was not expecting it to be as challenging as it was. Holes were often very far between each other; also climbed many mountains to get to some holes. It’s definitely a whole body workout to play this course. Have to go in expecting the challenge vs wanting to play a relaxing game one afternoon. Must have a cart for this one...it is not a walkable course. Would try again now that I know what I’m getting into, but have to be up for the challenge.

Good Day

Winter Covid golf in the high desert. We love Sunridge - about 50 degrees & needed a layer, but beautiful day. Ground a little frozen first few holes; I bring my cute little hammer till the sun wins. lotta roll. Plenty challenging

Winter golf

Lil Brezzy Day but the golf rocked. The greens always roll nice and fair here. Lots of divots though ground is frozen so hard to repair but peeps need to make better effort.Though bang for your buck Sunridge brings it from the friendly staff to the course.Ken and crew rock.

Snow on course and closed

I do not understand why I was able to book online the night before. When they were closed due to snow on course. It was a wasted drive and time.

Sunridge golf

Very fun course with plenty of challenge! Course is in great condition. #14 is kind of a whacky hole with the massive drop from tee to fairway/green. It drops so far that you can't see where the ball lands. I find that you have to hit a good 180-190 yard club to the fairway & hope for the best!

Always enjoy playing here tho.

A very tough course but can be fun. Shot making is at a premium. A few spots were over watered and very soft but the greens were in excellent condition. Target golf on many holes make for some large scores when not hit correctly. Greens are difficult if you are not close or under the pin.
