Sunridge Golf Club
About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

quirky
I title this quirky because of the difficulty of the backside and its target type golf. I enjoy the challenge and fun to play once each year. I would not recommend this course to others because of the quirky course layout and the difficulty. Another aspect is the elevation changes on several holes that make the course seem more of a novelty than a course that you would play weekly.
Good course but very wet.
Very fun layout.
Unfortunately it was severely over watered on much of the course.
Poor front desk service!!!
Front desk lady would not let me take a single cart because of covid-19 purposes!!! She wanted to pair me up with a friend which has concerns about his mom poor health. Her excuse was they where low on carts! She was breaking all guidelines due to covid-19. My friend ended up demanding a separate cart and over heard her saying " don't come back"! So don't go with a friend, because you will be forced to share a cart!!!!!
Awesome course
I’m glad I found Sunridge. Very fun course in great condition. Some challenging holes. Must play if you are in the Carson area! Amazing views too
Great course
Unique course with strategically placed hazards and tons of fun on the closing holes
Best course
This has been my favorite course in northern Nevada since I found this hidden gem. The course is amazing and playable. The staff is super friendly. Never a bad day here.
Impeccable shape right now!!
The course is as lush as I’ve ever seen it. Wow. Best value in the region hands down. This track is so darn fun. Greens roll true and are in great shape, but they are keeping them long for winter purposes unfortunately. That’s my ONLY complaint. They are rolling about an 8. If they were rolling a 10 or 11 I’d probably have to quit my job to play here every day.
Heavenly Valley view and perfect weather.
Remind me of the Old heavenly road in Tibet mountain road that is so hilly and narrow and steep. Pro shop staff greeted me with my first name that’s the first time in a long time. We don’t get this kind of welcome at any pro shop anymore.
Thrilling steep hills and the valley scenery, topped with the perfect weather made us feel great. Not very good score due to challenging fairways and the greens but still enjoyed the game totally. The management seemed to have made a great improvement, since the last time we played here last year. It was worth driving over 165 miles from home. Thanks again GolfNow for keeping this course in your program.
Beautiful course
Most challenging and enjoyable course played in Nevada. Surprises on every fairway.
Nice challenging course
This course is challenging, wouldn’t recommend for beginners who may get frustrated. Due to water hazards, some tight layup spots, course management is the key to enjoy this course. Many of the greens were a bit soft, but they did roll true. I didn’t catch the young lady running the pro shop. She was efficient, extremely pleasant and had pace of play in mind, which worked great. Enjoyed our round and would play again. There were a few elevated tees that were fun to play!
