Sunridge Golf Club
About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

AMAZING!
First time at the course. We play a lot in Edgewood, Lake Tahoe golf course etc.... this was worth the hike up the highway. Haley who runs the course was absolutely amazing. Course conditions were great with great views and scenery. Can not wait to come back and golf again. Highly recommend this course to anyone. Thank you Sunridge staff.
Surprising Course
Despite COVID-19 and smoke from all the fires we have a great time. Nice course with some amazing views and challenging holes. I would definitely recommend you take the time to play Sunridge.
Overall a really fun course
I really enjoyed the round. Elevation changes, interesting fairway lies, well placed bunkers, and tough greens to putt. Challenging but fair. Not for a beginner. I played a variety of tees throughout.. Going back today.
A Fun Course to Play!!
I played this course 15 years ago when course conditions were not very good. That has all changed. The greens were great and consistent, the fairways were good, and I forgot how fun this course is to play. Half of the holes are flat with water challenges, the other half have “terrain” to deal with. Holes 7,8,9,14, thru 18 are on the hillside and have elevation challenges. Enjoy!! The gals in the pro shop were great and friendly, but couldn’t really provide course play helpful hints. I look forward to playing this course again.
Sunridge
Great course. Lots of water and hills. Been here many times....one of my favorite courses.
golf with friends
Have played Sunridge many times and have gotten rather used to the course. I consider it a moderately difficult course considering the amount of water that comes in to play a lot on the course. Decent practice facility, The course is in rather good condition. The greens looked Great, but putted rather slow which was frustrating, don't be afraid to Hit it on up hill putts. I don't know what it is with golfers not fixing ball marks on the greens, I sure fixed a lot. Fairways were in good shape, tee boxes were fine. Free relief from the bunkers which was necessary, Keeping your ball in play really helps off the fairway forget it.
Good Value
Overall good value for your money. Back 9 features amazing holes with tees elevated as much as 200 ft above green (#14). Fair course, not overly difficult. Like the 19th hole (not the bar).
Great course, outstanding friendly knowledgeable
Great courses, outstanding facility. Very challenging Mountain course, a must play if you’re anywhere near Carson City. The value through Golfnow couldn’t have been better..
Amanda, who ran the pro shop and restaurant while we were there was the friendliest, most knowledgeable person we ran into in a long time. She will ensure that you have a wonderful time
Greens really fast, trouble with my drives and putts cost me more strokes. Still a gun day.
No amenities
Would have been nice to have been informed in advance that the driving range would be closed. Also no ice available and could use a water bucket for towels. Course was was in fairly good shape, however the greens were tall and slow.
