Sunridge Golf Club
About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Winter special
I think we all know the nickname for this course, but the price in the winter is Well worth it. I feel like every time I go back to this course the ownership/management is making an attempt to change something that is old and worn out. Overall a good experience. Conditions are classic winter conditions with some exceptionally hard parts of the fairway and greens but mostly on the edges on a few holes.
Great Course
Lots of water and elevation changes. Great course!
Best golf value around
This course is fun, challenging and has one of the most interesting layouts I’ve played. Definitely the best course for the money I’ve seen
Great layout
Really had a great time playing this course in late January.. Beautiful weather and fantastic Conditions

Sunridge golf
I have played Sunridge but not for a few years now. The course had suffered from lack of maintenance in the past. The new management has brought this place back to above average condition. I was very impressed by the greens & tees! The views from this course are awesome! It still has the crazy #15 with the 300' drop from the tee to fairway. (Don't hit too much club here, 180 yes club will do). Glad that I returned. We had a great time!
Fun challenging course
Course was in good shape abs was a great challenge for playing the first time.
Greatly improved
We vacation South Lake Tahoe almost every year; however it’s been two years since we were here. The course has been greatly improved. Greens are excellent and there are no bare spots on the fairways. I’ve been playing here for almost twenty years and this time it’s the best condition ever. I’m here for another ten days and hope to play a couple more times.
Great Course for the Money
I always enjoy playing here when in the Lake Tahoe area. Multiple challenging tees, very good layout, nice greens, and a great hot dog in the Pro Shop. Wouldd efinitely recommend this place, and friendly staff.
Play here once a year on annual outing. Course conditions are improving every year for past couple of years. Great value for the money. Interesting back nine.
Fun Course
Tried the course out for the first time. Followed a tournament. Was really slow for a men’s club. Greens were in great shape minus a few bare spots. Par 3 on the back has a green that isn’t less than desireable. Otherwise, great course.
Challenging hole
I return to this course. I’ve played do you know Alex and Gino and Ranch. I will play this course more than I will pay the other two
What an adventure
Every time I take some one to the course, the always say wow I lost a lot of balls today!
Next time I will play a little tighter game.
Wonderful place
I've been trying to play a different course every week this year and sunridge has by far been my most pleasant experience this summer. The course conditions may not be that of a tour course "yet" but it is very playable and enjoyable. The layout and varying landscapes is second to none and makes for a very exciting round. My complete take of this place is great, the place needs some improvement but seems to be getting the treatment it needs in means of management and course care. All of that coupled with the phenomenal staff definitely ranks this course up towards the top in my book!
Had a great day the course is in great condition staff is always professional and courteous brought a friend that had never played there she loved it will always go back and play at Sunridge
