Sunridge Golf Club
About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

course condition
for the time of year the greens were in very good condition. Had a great time. played 27 that day
Good course with lots of challenges
Great day to play. Course continues to improve with new owners. Lots of water and challenges. Several holes with big elevation changes. Great course for the price.
Beautiful Day
On a beautiful March day, our group really enjoyed playing at Sunridge. The course has really come back over the past several years and it shows the result of hard work by the staff and management.
We had no problem checking in and were told we could go when ready because there was a skins game at 11:00 (which did not affect our play at all.
Course is challenging, but plays well.
Needs a Marshall weekdays!
Very slow front 9. Too many twosomes clogging up course today. 3 separate twosomes on hole 11 with another on the green. Many hitting multiple shots from same location. Last 9 holes about 105 minutes.
I had a double reservation due to an error made and need a refund.
First round of golf of 2019. A very good start.
Weather was a typical Carson Valley winter at 42 degrees then down to 39 when we finished the game. Good score and a lot of picture taking. Will show them to our grownup granddaughters telling them how 81 years old grandparents enjoy the “Golden Age.” At 18 hole course to get 9 & 16(grandma) over par was not everyday thing so we are proud of ourselves. Thanks for the friendly and professional way of accepting us. Thanks again to GolfNow.
Good course great value
First time playing a round on dormant/brown grass. Played in short sleeves between storms. Standing water in a couple fairways. Course was surprisingly in great shape. Great value and pace of play. Will be back on our next trip to Carson Valley Inn.
Hillside Adventure!
This course is pure fun and adventure. The hillside holes on the front nine are spectacular--stunning views and outrageous tee boxes. Be prepared to lose some balls! First time players will have some surprises.
Breezy and Easy !
Windy day, but course in great shape. Greens were awesome and some holes very challenging. My 14th time here. I shall return.
Awesome day, love this course and the people here!
If tou haven't played.here in awhile you need too. It's especially a great value but fun to play. Plenty of challenging holes to play especially the back nine.
Exciting course
The fairways and greens were in good condition. The last 4 holes were the most enjoyable holes I ever played because of the design and difficulty of the greens. I am from out of town and look forward to playing the course when I return.
a gem
beautiful location and views of Carson Valley and the mountains. I can believe we havn't played this course earlier. Water comes into play on most of the "lower" holes. Holes in the hills can be very challenging. As a high handicapper I used many balls, but still had a great time, have played it twice recently and will be going back!
Great target golf course
Enjoyed this course. Some very tricky holes that require some course knowledge. They do provide a course book, but playing the course a 2nd time will help. Lots of water that is placed where it always come into play, so you have to be accurate with all of your shots. Some very challenging elevation changes that make you think through your club selection. I enjoyed playing this course, even in a 15-20 mph wind. The course was well maintained with a good practice area and the staff was great. It seems that they are all happy that you are supporting their course.
Awesome day, love this course!
This is a great course for intermediate players who are looking for a little challenge and lots of fun. (Especially Holes 14-18).
Love this course! Love the views. Give it and try, you will not be disappointed. Great deals online too.
A course with personality
Sunridge has always been a great design
But now it is also in great shape and well staffed ! Thanks to the efforts of new ownership
Fun Course
This was my first time playing at Sun Ridge and I would definitely would play it again when Im in the area. Great elevation changes on the back 9 with fantastic views..
