About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Golfer Reviews
Sunridge is always fun
Conditions were winter weather cold with some sun. Ground was firm on the greens so suggested to club down on approach shots and land chip shots a little further from the pin because the ball is definitely going roll out.
The course is fun to play winter or summer so I recommend it.
Great hidden course in Northern Nevada
This is an excellent golf course. It is challenging, but a lot of fun with elevation changes. The tee boxes offer various challenges. You will enjoy it.
S.G.C.
Everyone and everything was good. Staff was excellent/courteous and the course was in good winter shape. Not the course's fault but I wish the players out there would repair their ball marks. My friend and I repaired 2-3 on every hole.
See Ya soon ~weather permitting.
The Story of 2 Nines
The front 9 is like most of the other local courses, only with more water hazards. The back 9 is crazy and interesting with the elevation changes. Very interesting. Similar to some St George, UT or Mesquite, NV courses.
The fairways were in good shape, considering the season. The greens were very good and consistent. It was a great place to play and I'll come more often.
Always worth for every penny.
We live in Bay Area and play in Sunridge when we stay in South Lake Tahoe area. The course is very fun and reasonably well maintained considering the fee. Highly recommended.
Just a great play
Always like this course. Challenging, great shape, and super friendly staff. Played in 3 hours, no gos in cart but course is marked very well. This course just never disappoints, for the price and challenge and conditions I just really like playing here.
Lots of elevation
Very challenging course with lots of elevation and some real fun holes. Wife got a hole in one on 15 so it’s now a favorite of hers.
Tried updated course
Played many years back when it was a dog track. New owners have been bringing course back to life. Challenging course with nice greens…I’ll play it again.
Unique course
This course is a trip. Pretty challenging to near impossible on some holes. I wouldn’t play here regularly but every once in a while it would be a fun round.
Poor pace of play
Staff letting people go out earlier than their tee time no Marshalls to keep up Pace of play, ends up grid locked
