East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

1 hour delay
Our tee time was originally 2:08 pm. After checking in at 1:35 we were told we would get a phone call in about mins when our cart was ready. At 2:30 i went to see how much longer it would be and he told me another 30mins, crazy, why did he tell me 40 mins initially? As we were watching them send of groups of 2 we questioned why not put them together to speed up pace of play, they responded with “do you want an application, as it seems you know how best to run this place?” Completely rude, we were just offering simple logic. At the very least we should had been offered free range balls, instead we payed $20 for 2 buckets of lawnmower cut balls. This place needs a complete overhaul, until then I will be golfing elsewhere!
Rained out
We were unable to play because of freak one day storm which cosisted of mid 40's, 20-25 mph wind and rain going sideways.
The wind was a killer unless you had it at your back. I have played this course several times, but the wind today had to make it the worst round I have played there.
Greens in really good shape. A couple areas have water drainage issues. Overall decent shape.
Good Beginner Course
My friend and I have just started playing golf 6 mos ago. This course was not hard to follow and not too many hazards. Terrain was a little soggy in places but overall a good place to play our first full 18. Experienced golfers may find not as challengin
Bad outing
Got paired up with a player who, l think, had never swung a golf club before. I quit after 5 holes.
Another Good Deal from Golf Now / TeeOff Golf
For the money I paid for this deal, this was a. very good deal! The East Course has seen some very encouraging improvements in the last few years, namely the maintenance of this course and more specifically the fairways and to some extent the greens. In the past and at least for me personally, I found anything beyond the 1st cut was unreasonably thick and difficult to play and challenging. Most of the cart paths still need more TLC and some low areas of the fairway are very soggy from apparent and continual over watering.
You will never lose a golf ball on this course
So first time I’ve played the course. A couple of things
1) $30 for 18 and a cart. Haven’t had that rate since I was 17 years old (uh…long time ago)
2) as noted in the title, you would have work *really hard* to lose a ball on this course. Side - by - side fairways with barely a tree or bush to be found means even mishit are infinitely findable (and of course playable). First cut rough is in many cases the only cut rough.
3) I’m guessing this place is almost unplayable in the summer during the day due to heat. I played in March and it was low 70’s and delightful
4) fairways are in decent shape for a public course but could definitely use some love in some areas (18th for ex). Greens could probably use another cut but my guess is they would dry out too quickly in the direct exposure
Overall an enjoyable course. Great for beginners for sure.
Great Value, Terrible Pace of Play
It's hard to beat a round for only $20, but the pace of play was awful. The course is a little rough, but it is only March so I imagine it will get better. The east course is great for beginners and getting back into the swing of things after winter. Hopefully the management can manage the pace a little better so that players aren't standing around for 10-15 minutes to hit their next shot.
We love eagle valley
The staff is amazing the bar and restaurant it’s perfect for whatever you need on the turn. Rate of play is almost always good to finish in under four hours. A great place for a round or two with your best buds! Give it a try you won’t regret it.. and it’s a great price - clay
