East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

Good for the money
The East course is perfect for those learning the game or looking to introduce someone to the game. The wide-open layout makes losing a ball near impossible and the short cut rough allows for any shot to have a decent chance at being good. While the bunkers and OB conditions are lack-luster, the overall course provides an enjoyable experience and one to boost the confidence of players both high and low handicap. For the money, you cant beat this for a nice practice round.
Wet
The course is way to wet, puddles everywhere, cart paths need repair and bunkers are in awful shape. Doesn't cost much so that makes it easier to swallow.
Nice greens
Greens were nice early and nice wide open fairways. Some super lush areas and no bunkers but it's basically ground under repair so it's cool for the price and pace ... will be back for sure..
Eagle valley east
Course in great shape need starter on weekends.
Pace of play was good,
Easy course, but what’s that stench?
I was visiting from Las Vegas and was looking for a cheaper course. $35 for a hot deal but honestly was still overpriced. Those were hands down the worst bunkers I’ve ever played in. Also, there were some funky weeds growing in the rough that looked like cabbage. Soggy almost everywhere. Greens were nice. I played decently, but I’d rather struggle somewhere else that didn’t smell like dookie. $20 should be the max for that course. I know there’s a west course, but the course conditions of the east course solidified me not returning. Lastly, it’s hot as balls out there, provide some water or at least ice in the cooler…
Good basic golf
EVE is a great course for the beginner, high handicaper or average golfer. It’s a very basic layout that is not too tough.
Played early morning on July 2. The greens were excellent. Fairways and tees not bad. The bunkers however were all full of mud and weeds. They need work.
Wind City
Except for being exrtremely windy, the course was in good shape , however some of the traps had lot of water in them-suggest turning sprinklers down by traps or make them a water hazard
Eagle Valley East
This is a wide open fairly easy course to play. It's a muni course. Fairways are a bit on the rough side, greens are ok. It's hard to lose a ball.here and a good value for the money.
Eagle Valley worst
Has to to be in my top five of the worst courses I’ve ever played. If you enjoy playing on a mowed cow pasture this course is for you it’s like playing at a giant driving range

I've been playing this course for years (all year round) and always have a great time. The staff is great and the course is generally in good condition. It's very forgiving for the occasional, or in my case, often errant shot. Keep up the great work!
