Los Lagos Golf Course

I like playing at Los Lagos but yesterday was extremely slow. We started at 12:40 and at 4:30 we quit at the 11th hole.

The course keeps going downhill as the homeless encampments grow. Since recent flooding it's even worse. It's ironic seeing a sign about staying out of the protected area, only to see the camp's and the trash beyond that sign.

We'll maintain Golf course .Ist I'm hesitant to play beacause when I read some other people review was horrible but when I arrived I was surprised about the pristine condition of the golf course.Plenty of Par 4 and Par three but mostly challenging specially at the green.You need to study ,read the green so you can get A good score..Layout is well plan.I really injoy this golf course and I already tell my fillow golfer to start playing there.I highly recommend this golf course to anyone.

Well lets start off with the good....Fun layout,interesting holes but there are a lot of par three and its a short course because of that but don't confuse that with what tees to play from.Its only short because of the number of par 3's...last par 5 on the course from the blues is 585 yards.It has beautiful scenery with many red foxes running wild,you can't play a game here without seeing a few.I will say there are many homeless people living around the creek area which is kinda strange and when I say many were talking 20-30 tent sites at least and that was right after the flood.The layout is a bit strange as after a couple holes your directed over the creek which seems normal for 4 holes or so then you back to the front side then the back nine takes you back over again for two short par 3's then back to the front again so if your walking it can be a long walk between holes.The flooding though it has drain ok has left this pretty muddy in areas but given 4-5 holes were underwater for a couple days I guess that's pretty fair.all in all its very interesting and when it dries out more and is a bit hotter I think this summer will be one of Los Lagos's best.(they need to do something about everyone living at the creek though that is a little unsettling at times most people are ok but of course there a few kinda crazy or on something characters)

This is a fun little course (par 68) that has lots of par 5s and par 3s.The course is in good shape. It is wide open with thick rough, sandy bunkers and good greens. There are foxes running around the course and lots of large geese.

It is a pretty easy course which makes for a fun day.

Course in great condition best I've seen in a while but it's usually in good shape, staff friendly and helpful

By the city of San Jose , don't need anymore soccer fields ! Price, play time and amenities are great , highly recommended course .

Course always in great condition, especially after periods of rain.

Los Lagos is one of my regular courses. Always well-maintained. Sometimes overcrowded but it never fails to be a good round.

Well kept and challenging, greens in great shape but tough to read.

For a muni course, Los Lagos is kept in good condition. It is a short course with a lot of par 3s and short par 4s. There are a couple of long par 5s.

My only complaint is the slow pace of play. Maybe they need to schedule tee times further part.

This track is in good shape greens run pretty good and layout not bad. Worthy of playing for a decent deal.

Fun par 3's. Nice farway. Challenging but fair greens.

The course was in good shape and pace of play was excellent (maybe the Ryder cup had something to do with it.

Well-kept course, well-designed. Greens are undulating but slow. Too many Par 3's and not enough Par 4's.

Sunday late morning tee time. NOONE in front of us and NOBODY pushing us. The golf was excellent and we finished the entire round in four hours. You have to watch out for the four legged foxes out on the course. They will get in your cart and take almost anything. My friend lost his lunch to the foxes and it was zipped up tight in his golf bag.

Excellent little muni hidden away in the middle of suburban San Jose. Small but challenging due to winds.

The weather was great, the family had fun, the beer was cold: How does it get better than that?

Couldn't ask for better course conditions. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They let us go out early which was a gooc consideration.
