Golf course was in good shape except a few greens. Pace of play was really good!
Pro Shop staff not really friendly!!

Gets better every time
I have been playing this course for years whenever I am in town. It seems to get nicer every year and the price is always very reasonable. The staff and course conditions were excellent. It is by far one of the best values in the Grand Strand area for golf
Great place to play
I had a good time playing this course, the pace was excellent, Steve was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this course.
Nice Course
Azalea Golf is a well maintained course. There are no tees left on t boxes and the greens are excellent. Fairways are also in great condition. Starter works hard and is friendly guy. I've played there a few times now and it's becoming my favorite course. I'm not very good; just a senior weekend golfer.
Great course to play
I had no problem, checking in for my teatime. The staff and the starter were fantastic. The course was in great shape, the play went smooth. I really had no waiting at any particular hole. I had a great time overall. I am definitely going to Golf this course again.
Great value
Been playing this course for several years and the conditions seem to get better and better. This is a great value.
Beginner player
I really enjoyed this course. I have played only a handful of courses but this is one I as a beginner found actually enjoyable to play. I will be returning to this course again forsure.
Ok round
The course was ok. Close to the hotel for us. Pace of play was terrible. They did a double start on hole 1 and 10. When we finished the first 9 we had to wait 20 minutes to start the back 9 on 10. Then other groups behind us jumped in front of us to start on 10 while we stopped for a bathroom break in the clubhouse. This cost us 30 minutes of waiting in between the front and back 9. We were first out on 1 yet we were put behind others. Very poor planning and execution of play by the course who showed zero concern about it.
Aerated!!!!
The golf course owes it to the customers to be transparent and honest when it comes to course conditions!! No one in the clubhouse or any of the bag drop or starters said that the course had just been aerated!!
Spring 2025
Played a round of golf with my son. Course was not busy so starter let us go early and as a twosome. Played in 3.5 years hours. Greens had just been aerated and sanded/fertilized so they were a little slow and bumpy. However, for the money the course was an excellent value. Challenging, yet playable from all tees. Would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive round of golf on a good layout! Have played it several times over the last several years, never disappointed
