Golfer Reviews
Pleasantly Surprised
Took my son to play this course, and while it started out slow, the pace did pick up and we played on a Sunday, starting at 1030 AM, and we were done by 240, so not bad at all. Greens were a little on the slow side, however I played Barefoot Dye the day before, so I was used to that speed. Bag attendants and Pro Shop guys were great.
Definitely will play this again, MUCH better than the last time I played (probably about 7-8 years ago).
Great greens
We play here regularly. Great value and the greens are as good as any we played in Myrtle
Great Staff and Incredible Value
I was thoroughly impressed with Azalea Sands on 7/19/24. Of the courses that I have sampled in the Myrtle Beach area, this is by far the best bang for your buck. The greens are fast and true, and the fairways are soft. Conditions were far better than I expected for the price I paid. On top of all of this, the staff was incredible. They kept pace of play up, the starter was awesome, and the snack bar waitress was amazing.
I highly recommend putting this budget course with great conditions on your list of places to play!
Fair test , especially with wind, fun.
First time playing, friendly staff, fun course, good shape, good value. Pace was good, 4 hrs for full 18.
Great value
Honestly you can’t go wrong, great value and the course was fun to play
Not for me
Slow pace of play. The Ranger came out a few times, but was ineffective at having the slow group pick up the pace.
Course was very playable. Fairways rolled out in good shape greens held approach shots that were hit well. Putting at a reasonable speed. I would play again
Great course; great value
Not sure why the rate is so low. Excellent course conditions. Staff is most friendly of any course we played on our beach trip.
Great course & value. Fun and challenging round!
$37 for 18 holes (20% off) and an 8:30 tee time (had some even earlier) I couldn’t have asked for a better course for that price point. Conditions great, 17/18 greens were great, friendly staff, only thing I don’t like is they don’t technically have a driving range. Just some nets you can hit into. At least they had that. And I only lost one ball!
Course in good shape
After using app to make tee time we showed up at the golf course they said they had no tee time for us fortunely we were worked in close to our tee time we were paired up with a single person I don’t know how or where the mix up happened
