Azalea Sands Golf Course

Played this course about the same time a couple years ago. It has greatly improved since then!

After my round, I returned the riding cart to the drop off area. I headed to the clubhouse to shop, when I remembered that I had left my cooler on the cart. I notified the person at the front of my problem, he called the area where the returned carts are parked. He told me that someone there would have the cooler for me, when I I returned. Long story short, no one found the cooler, the amount of time it went missing, about 15 minutes. I wonder who took it off the cart.

Course was looking pretty good. The staff was very polite and the guys out and about on the course was keeping it looking good. Greens were still a little Sandy from plugging but for the $ wasn’t bad.

I thought the course was in good condition, the staff were friendly. I played with a couple guys from Kentucky that were great, pace was good, had a great time.

This is a nice course. Great staff and pace of play was very good for a very nice Saturday morning. Flat, open course. Greens were good.

Excellent course friendly staff nice pace course in nice spring condition

I had played this course about 3 years ago and that is when it was just starting back after a closing. I expected the course then to be in rough shape and it was. I expected after 3 years that the course would have been in better shape. I understand it is dry but lack of grass on many spots make it hard to play.

I also played alone and did not have anyone in front of me for the round. Many times I had trouble finding the next tee.. Signs on the paths would be helpful.

This course was the second worse course that I have ever played. You need to be careful to not try and take a divot with your swing on the fairway otherwise you may get hurt. Can’t even get a tee in the ground at the tee box without breaking it. On a good note you will never have to fix a ball mark on the green. A 169 yard iron shot that lands on the green and bounces off will not make a mark

By no means a lush golf course. Lots of sparse areas. Very hard soil. Greens were ok. Pace was just ok. Played behind a 5some.

This is a great course for beginners, not to much trouble off tees and pretty open. My only problem is we had a couple in front of us taking there sweet time and hitting 2 balls a piece. Really slowed down pace of play.

They really upgraded the condition particularly the greens and fairways

This was just the right course for our level of play. Plenty of water and sand hazards, but not overwhelming.

The score cards yardage were significantly different than actual yardage on the course. No driving range for those who may want that.

The staff was great and we had a good time at this course.

Arrived shortly before a bachelor's party of 30 were to play and got moved to the tee box a little early. Everyone at this course was awesome.

Course is just difficult enough to make you think about shots. Would definitely play again. The only downside is no range just hitting nets.

Greens were fairly smooth although covered in clumps of grass from mowing. Some looked burnt out. Fairways were rough and looked like they needed weed killer and fertilized. The redesign was good with adding waste bunkers. Attention really needed on tee boxes. some so hard you could hardly get a tee in the ground.

We used the course as a warm up after being out of the game awhile. It did serve that purpose.
