Azalea Sands Golf Course

Suppose to be under new ownership, a lot of over seeding and doing work on course. Doesn’t effect play. Real nice practice course or to to out and have fun! Less that $40.

Fun course in fairly good shape. Staff very nice from the beverage cart to the starter!

Coming from a manger at a country club the Course is In pretty good shape yes the greens are shaggy but unless you pay 100$ Plus down here your going to get that. 2 greens were bad some rough spots here and there again unless you spend the $$$ or play at a high end country club that’s what your getting it was a great value pace of play was a bit of a issue on the back nine but that’s not the courses fault I will say 90 degrees and having absolutely no ice water on the course is a pretty big no no a employee did come out and offer us a small water bottle which was great but to not have water stations on the course is unacceptable.

I would definitely play there again

Played on Friday afternoon. Threesome finished in 3 hours 15 minutes. Never held up or pushed. Conditions were very good. Although greens were smooth and well maintained, they were slow. Overall, a nice course at a good price.

Who ever took over the course is doing a great job renovating!!! Keep it up!!!

Friendly staff and interesting course layout made for a fun round. PCe of play was a little slow but not a problem

This is the second year us PA boys have taken a golf vacation to SC

We played Azalea both years

We have agreed that this course is the official WaP golf club , SC golf course. We plan to visit this course multiple times next year . Great staff , just treated us like friends . i highly recommend

Good basic course for all… nothing wrong, gets a lot of play, therefore the pace gets slower and the wait on a couple groups sometimes happens…

Played this course about the same time a couple years ago. It has greatly improved since then!

After my round, I returned the riding cart to the drop off area. I headed to the clubhouse to shop, when I remembered that I had left my cooler on the cart. I notified the person at the front of my problem, he called the area where the returned carts are parked. He told me that someone there would have the cooler for me, when I I returned. Long story short, no one found the cooler, the amount of time it went missing, about 15 minutes. I wonder who took it off the cart.

Course was looking pretty good. The staff was very polite and the guys out and about on the course was keeping it looking good. Greens were still a little Sandy from plugging but for the $ wasn’t bad.
