Nice Quick Round
Azalea Sands is an old traditional Myrtle Beach lay-out. Excellent course for mid-range golfers. Condition of course was acceptable. Played the ball down without any issue.

Everything was in pretty bad shape. Greens were decent. Very open course though so you won’t lose golf balls. Practice area was especially tiny. There’s plenty of other courses in MB that I’d recommend. Food wasn’t ready but the woman Donna was very nice. I hate to bash a local course but if they want to remain in business some major changes need to happen.

Fun course in decent shape with good greens
Accommodating and friendly staff and a good but not overly difficult course. Greens in good shape and got paired with 3 other first timers. Windy.

Great improvements
Haven't played here in several months. Like night and day. Great renovations in the clubhouse. The greens were in great shape and fast. The addition of the four hitting bays is a plus.
No waiting, flew through the round. Sod work being done. The only thing I would say is on the negative side is some of the fairway roughs need work. Otherwise this course is on my regular list. Great job guys.

Good experience
While the course wasn't the equal to the more expensive courses in the area, it was a good value. It's clear the management is trying to maintain the course, the tee boxes needed some significant repair. Also, for 1st timers, larger tee box markets would be very helpful.
