Not Again
A goat track. If you enjoy playing a course 40 years past it’s prime with the sound of Myrtle beach traffic in your backswing you have found your course. It’s tired, it’s worn out and the fact that it has a decent rating on this app is beyond laughable. I it doesn’t even have working bathrooms in the clubhouse. Gotta use portajohns in the parking lot. This is a no go zone.

Good play for time of year
Course was in good shape, tee boxes need some work but greens where in good shape

Nice course
I only played the front nine because I drove 5 hours to get there and only had time for nine. Layout was good and I would play again staff very friendly

Better than expected.
The surprises started before the first tee. The practice green was smooth and fast. That ended up being the courses main defense. Breaks and grain were tricky to read making putting very interesting. The layout was pretty straightforward with few surprises. The par threes and fives are beefy. The bunkers were in good condition. Mid Dec, and the grass was still green and growing. If you've never been, I would tell you to go to Beechwood.

Good Tract
Straight forward course. If you want to have fun, this is the place. Not tricked up with a lot of sand and water. You won't lose balls easily. Wide fairways. Greens were very good for this time of year! Great value, too.

Nice course
Worst moment, we ordered a couple of beers to take with us on the course. The server got kinda short when she thought we weren't leaving a tip.
Other than that we had a fun 9 holes.

Course was nice but was overbooked
We enjoyed the course with the exception of having to wait at every tee box. Play took over 5 hours.
Our tee time was at 11:22 and the Marshall told us we were late (11:20) and to hurry to the 1st tee box.
We arrived at the first tee (11:21) to find three teams in front of us waiting to tee off and behind us there were two teams waiting to tee off.
We originally were supposed to be paired up with two others but suspect they brought a friend at the last minute creating part of the backup.
We also overheard a staff member bragging how they needed 4 more players to reach 200, we heard this when we hit the turn. This course grossly overbooked golfers

Great course for a great price
This course was well maintained and in great condition late November. You can tell it’s an older club without any frills, but staff was friendly and it had a friendly layout for the beginning golfer. Call the course for tee times if you have a special circumstance to get discounts (juniors, military, etc). Great place and my girlfriends sons first round.
