Eagle Nest Golf Club

A well maintained course with a good layout. Playing right before new years the grass was a little thin or dormant in the fairways but still provided good hit able lies. Greens were firm but rolled well. I look forward to playing it again in the Summer months to see what it looks like then.

Course with character. Fairways and tees in good condition, however greens had been sanded and were quite gritty.

Eagle Nest is a great value and course is in very good condition. The traps were all redone in 2020 and greens are in good condition. Staff is very friendly. Only caveat is course does not drain well so can have standing water on fairways if it has rained slot

This course gets better every time we play it. Improvements to the course are on going and they are making it more player friendly for the seniors. Nice staff, good rates.

The greens were not kept up. Pine straw leaves and other debris on every whole except 2.. number 17 green has so much sand on it we thought it use to be a bunker.

I had the occasion to play Eagles Nest in September and this week. Both times the staff was amazing and the course challenging for our groups. Both times, however, the grounds crew were inconsiderate while we were playing. Both round the crew would drive by us while trying to hit with no regard to standards of etiquette. This trip, who I imagined was the head grounds keeper drove up on the fringe of the green while a member of our group was attempting to putt to ask us to wait on their crew to overseed the greens. A crew that we had been waiting on for 3 holes in a row. It was a frustrating experience.

Fairways and sand traps in good shape. Lightly just sanded greens. Enjoyed the layout and the play. Friendly staff that was very helpful. Will be back to play again.

We were told Eagles Nest was a great value. We were unimpressed. Anyone who was nice seemed like they had to be...one cart attendant was the nicest person there.

Tee boxes were bad, fairways in horrible shape. No early morning maintenance on the course. We teed of at 9:30 and they were spraying liquid fertilizer on the greens and overseeding. The guy overseeding just stayed on the fairway and, in fact, told US to move.

$59 for a less than mediocre experience. It wasnt worth $29.

Played there with my wife and daughter last weekend. The staff and course were wonderful. I shot my second best round ever there because the greens were so consistent.
