About
Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.
Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

Good course
Conditions were great pace of pay excellent, nice layout - will definitely return when back in the area

Thanks for the great experience! The staff was friendly, the course conditions were excellent, and the course layout is superb. I used every club in my bag. The only challenge was the weather was unseasonably cold. However, we turned this lemon into lemonade

Spring time golf
Course in good shape both greens and fairways, will grow in with warmer temperatures .
Pace was OK, finished in 4 hrs so no complaints there. Overall will play again when in area.
Getting Better All The Time
This course is playing better every time we play there. Fairways and greens are in good shape and they are being cared for by a great staff and work crew. It is a course you will like to go back to and have a good time.

Typical February golf...course was in good shape though...by spring it will be top notch...enjoyed our round

January golf can go either direction. Eagles nest was a positive experience. Enjoyed the round, my playing partner and I both enjoyed birdies!

Great golf course and since it's dropped 17 in. of rain, it's in great shape. I will play again.
Rainy afternoon
The winter rain brought a warm day. The greens were excellent, and the fairways had bounce and roll. Top notch facility. Considering joining! Can’t wait to play on a dry day.
Eagle Nest Review
Course ok for January. On arrival starter was helpful in explaining the course. Pro shop staff acted like they hate their job. End of round I was sarcastically told thanks for the generous tip when he did absolutely nothing. I took the clubs off the cart and took them to the car previously. Will not return to this course. Many other options to choose from.
