About
Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.
Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

Golfer Reviews
A real nice time
My wife and I really enjoyed this course
It was a good length for her and we played very fast 18 holes in 3 hours
Sllllllloooooooowwwwwww play
The longest round of golf that I can remember. The course appeared to be overbooked. No carts till 15 mins before tee time. Gentlemen at bag drop and cart attendant was not friendly and welcoming at all. He made golfers feel that they weren’t wanted. 5:45 minutes!
Also dusty sand cart paths. Felt like I was in a desert dust bowl. Fairways seem barely watered. No beverage cart on course. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to possibly joining this course as a member. Not now.
Thank you for taking the time to review and leave your feedback of your recent round with us. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience you experienced at the course with us. Your feedback is extremely important to us. It is always our utmost goal to provide our golfers with a fun and enjoyable time and apologize if we missed the mark. First timer
Course was in GREAT shape! Greens were rolling true! Only thing they didn't offer was a drink cart person to deliver on course. Overall loved it!

Very good first SC course
My wife and I played this course in the afternoon during the week. The front 9 only. We're not the greatest golfers but we really did enjoy the course. Very different from our home area in cincinnati. The greens were in good shape and fairways are a reasonable width. Several homes are a bit unique with placement of water and traps. There is also a small range there for warm up. No refreshment cart on the course. We did see the ranger several times who was friendly.
Afternoon @ Eagle Nest Golf Club
Course in good shape, a little dry though. Slow play. Starter and pro shop staff very friendly. Carts are old and in need of maintenance. Geese roosting in trees, never seen before.
Awesome Friendly course
Eagles Nest is a perfect course for all skill level golfers!! There are some challenging holes but not difficult for a beginner!! It’s worth the money which is less then some of the other courses. It’s fun and pleasant to play Eagles Nest. The greens and fairways are in great shape but some greens are hard to read which makes it more fun and challenging!! I Highly recommend Eagles Nest : )
Course was in good shape and good value.. play was backed up and pretty slow due to spring crowds.
Overall a great round
Overall the Course was in good shape, greens too. Course was busy but we’ll managed. A couple challenging holes. Wish I was in town longer to play again
April
Love the track, as my inner John Daly imagination from the nest, appreciate the game. Greens a tad slow playing in April. Staff was very nice and was appreciative of course advice.
We appreciate the review. You rated us 3-stars which means there is room to improve on your recent experience at Eagle Nest Golf Club. Let us know, in the comments, how and where you would like to see changes from the course. Thanks for the feedback!
