About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

I like this course
I play here several times a year...course is well maintained, carts are good, they have a beverage cart and generally this is a nice place to play. It does get a lot of golfers so quick rounds are not usually happening... 3 1/2 hours today which is not bad really. Bozos behind us hit up with their drives just a few feet away while we were on the green. That is just rude and obviously very dangerous and stupid as every group was waiting on the one in front of them.
Course was flooded and staff did not even mention it or let us know that it was cart path only. Shoes were ruined and every shot you were hunting for your ball in mud. Spent the entire round walking through puddles.
plenty of trouble
Even though the yardages are on the shorter side, there's plenty of trouble...penal Bermuda rough. Play this course a few times a month and several greens are having issues I hadn't seen a couple weeks ago. Course was CPO due to rains, still a good experience.
Course was in great shape.
Ventrura was in great shape. Especially the greens. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with the course, but the weather.. Couldn't finish my round because of a downpour.. Had to cut it short after 14 holes. I would definitely go again.
Par 3's
The course in general not difficult as far as tee to green. Par 3's long for a senior but the pars not so difficult. I thought 2 of the par 5s were some what difficult because of the water. I did manage to par one and the other 6. The course was in good shape and much better then the last time played (3 yrs ago)
Cart Path Only
First time golfing here, very difficult because it was cart path only, but I would recommend it!
