About
Carved from Stafford County's rolling, emerald green hills, Augustine Golf Club plays across a scenic landscape abundant with mature pines and hardwoods. The pristine white bunkers and the lush fairways contrast nicely with the trees. The course conveniently sits just 30 miles from the Washington Beltway. In 2011 when the golf course was acquired by Raspberry Golf Management, who are responsible for several courses in the area, Augustine underwent major renovations that increased its playability. The greens, fairways, rough, bunkers, and tee boxes were all redone. The layout offers a challenge but is gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence. Included in a round of golf at Augustine are range balls and unlimited use of the driving range, which has different targets and a large putting green.

Top rate to say the least
What a wonderful place to play. The course condition, amenities, and staff are all first rate. Gave me a taste of the treatment that PGA guys get. If you have never been, go you won't regret it.
Good Features and Fair
The course was in very good condition. The Bermuda grass fairways are coming in nicely.
Amazing
Course is in impeccable shape, great prices. Speed of play was amazing. Will be golfing there again next week!
Challenging Course
I used to be a member but left due to poor course conditions and horrible management/owner. Under new management and staff and 100 percent better. John Good the Professional is young, energetic and professional. Course was in great condition except the tee boxes which were feeling the effects of the heat. Had lunch after and food was excellent. Cart girl was out and made frequent trips. Pace was slow at first but Marshall came by and apologized and sped the group in front up and the pace was great after that. Highly recommend.
Very Challenging
The course is a challenge from the back tees, but the overall condition was shockingly below par for this venue. Maybe a few more weeks and things could change , but don't call me I'll call them!
Had a good outing
The greens had been recently aerated which made putting a little more difficult. However, overall the course was in very good shape and the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.
Marvelous
The only thing that needed improvement was my game. Bermuda grass not quite full summer quality, but getting close. Greens are fast and true. Staff was helpful and attentive without being pushy.
Good experience
Played May 25. Nice course that will become one of my favorites. Very much improved since the last time I played several years ago. All aspects well above average-design, conditions, clubhouse. Big plus is hitting off the turf on the practice range-one of the marks of a better course. Recommend putting this on your "to play" list.
Fun Course
Augustine is one of my favorite courses. There are still some areas that need a little help, but the layout is a lot of fun and after about the first six holes, it gets a lot easier. Pace of play for Saturday mornings has been good (4:30 or less) every time I've been there. Weather was perfect!
Course in great shape.
Course was in great condition. Troy (the attendant) that greets you at the end of your 18 holes, was very friendly and cleaned my clubs. Definitely will play again.

The course was in great shape. We played at 7am which really helped the pace.
Augustine; A good place to play
Augustine golf course is a challenging but fair play. The course was wet which worked against me. I like to use the run on my draw shots and was deprived of that opportunity. It required a lot of shot shaping from the tee box and the greens were well protected by the bunkers. I am glad we played from the whites this day.
A wonderful experience
First time at course. Love the range balls that come with the fee. Everyone very pleasant.
Course in great shape. Though located in a neighborhood, there are no houses right on the course. Very tranquil.
Will definitely return to play there!
Course is very scenic, but needs some work
Very scenic. Staff excellent. Course condition fair. The fairways need to grow in and are bare. Greens are good.
Better Than My last visit
Course was in good shape. Bunkers were in good condition and course manicured well. Will definitely go again in the near future.
Hmmm
After sluggish slump of the course, Augustine is back, The green was at amazing condition. Some of the fairways are now in the work for remedy, but I totally understand that the management company made great work to recover the condition. The condition is now 80 % back while old type of owner held this course. I will check it out in near future. 4.5 stars.
Great course for all levels
After a week of rain the course was in great shape.
A little slow in some areas due to a tournament using a couple of the back tees. Staff were out on the course which is always a bonus.
