Canyon Lakes Golf Course & Brewery

This course meanders around this Canyon Lakes development and so has a country club type of layout with homes lining a fair number of holes. The greens were true and putts rolled well. Tee boxes needs improvement as a number of them were patchy and unkempt.

Overall, this course was close to home and great value at $34 including cart.

Fairways and greens in great shape. Course knowledge helps on some holes. Some tee boxes not level. I have no real complaints course was in good shape.greens medium speed but rolled true. The only issue I had was at the turn I could not buy a Gatorade. Stood at the counter for a few minutes and nobody there. We teed off on time and played in 3 and a half hours. I will return.

My first post-COVID round. Great to be out. The course was in decent condition and was playing well. The noodle in the hole was easy to play with.

I’m truly disappointed with not only golf now the canyon Lakes golf club and brewery. I arrived on site today a good hour prior to my pre-purchased hot deal teatime. Upon checking in I was told by the only staff member available that they were one hour behind and there were no golf carts available? Since I’m a handicap person this is obviously going to pose a problem one because a hot deal purchase Is not refundable and less play is disruptive for some reason due to weather etc. I would suggest it if I cannot play at the designated teatime that I paid for in advance as well as not being able to use a car to participate since I’m handicapped that would be deemed as a refundable activity. I don’t recommend going to Canyon Lakes until they get better control of the current situation they were severely understaffed and there was a lot of confusion dealing with customers. I’m truly disappointed with both golf now and Canyon Lakes and I think golf now should possibly consider refunding based on circumstances like this but the software on the website does not allow a person to do so ??

Very disappointed

I last played here about 1 1/2 years ago and swore I wouldn’t play it again, the conditions were terrible. After reading some recent reviews I reluctantly decided to give it another try. Glad I did! The conditions overall were pretty good, they are doing work on the bunkers, so a few of them are ground under repair but I can live with that. They are trying to make it a better experience and you can tell they are working on it. The rest the course was in great shape, fairways were nice, greens were fast and the staff was very pleasant. I live so close to this course and was sad that it was in terrible condition previously. I’ll be back!

The golf ambassador is a idiot and pointless doesn’t do anything but lie and holds everyone up.

Been playing this course for the last 10-15 years. It is definitely in the best condition I have ever seen. Bunkers are much better with some needing more work and some ground under repair but overall the bunkers are the best I’ve seen there. Ironically I only saw one today, the 15th, one which had nice fluffy sand. Greens were smoothest and fastest I’ve seen as well. Fairways pretty darn good too. Staff was nice, especially the lady at the pro shop checking us in. Course is sneaky tough. Management needs to just finish the rest of the bunkers and keep the greens and fairways the way they are and this will be a course I come to more often than I do. Pleasantly surprised at the improvements. I know it takes time and money but Quality wins every time.

Course layout is great but the bunkers are in terrible state. Most of the bunkers have been under construction for a very long time. This could be a gem of a course if the bunkers were in good shape.

This course will eat your lunch lol it's difficult layout with not much room to miss left or right the greens are very fast and true.very nice. the main reason I play here is because they have the beat greens around

It was a nice course. A little tough if you do not know the layout. Some holes you have to play layup golf!l due to the serious dog legs and narrow fairways.
